A vast range of Flowcode 6 resources…

With the launch of Flowcode 6, we have listened to feedback and have gone all out on improving documentation. We have produced a range of different resources to aid users to learn Flowcode and show the capabilities and features of the software as well as concepts of what can be done with Flowcode.

The improved documentation features various new resources such as the Flowcode 6 wiki  (see image below) and Flowcode training videos which are featured on the Flowcode Help Videos page on our website and are embedded throughout the wiki to add accessibility to the resources available and improve the effectiveness of the wiki by combining these resources, finally the videos are originally sourced from our official YouTube channel the videos are also organised in a playlist containing an organised list of all of the training videos.

Wiki-Main-Page

The Flowcode 6 wiki contains a vast range of information, from the fundamental functionality to advanced features, e.g. from copy and paste functions and creating a new flowchart to simulation API and complex components and features such as the data injector and CAL components.

The main ‘Flowcode Help’ section is structured into sections to progressively learn Flowcode. From personalising the ‘System panel’ to configuring a chip, this section offers a variety of articles to allow beginners to comfortably use and learn Flowcode as well as more giving advanced users the ability to skip ahead and learn about the more complex functionality available.

This structure also incorporates exercises with step by step instructions, from creating a flowchart to inserting code into Flowcode. The ‘Exercises’ section contains a list of all exercises used in the Flowcode Help section and also provides additional exercises such as using the system and dashboard panels to creating complex components.

Our  wiki also has various auto-generated sections which explain the technical information of simulation API, events and components, these articles can also feature detailed descriptions and examples which may even include images or Flowcode files to be downloaded, run and even edited using Flowcode.

As well as these technical auto-generated articles the ‘Concepts’ section offers further technical information which explains the functionality within Flowcode, such as local and world space as well as how objects are manipulated and displayed in Flowcode, e.g. position/coordinates, rotation and scale/size.
