Flowcode 8 Beginners Guide: Variables

When learning to program for the first time, the concept of a variable can often be a big hurdle which you may struggle to overcome. The idea of a storage container which may change its contents over the lifetime of a program is something which is fundamental to traditional programming, but can seem foreign to non-programmers and is not without its difficulties. Of course, once you become familiar with the idea, you can produce some very powerful and useful programs.

This is the second in a series of “Beginners Guide” videos, which are designed to ease complete newcomers into becoming Flowcode users through simple concepts and examples.  In this video, we discuss and show how to create variables in Flowcode 8, and illustrate their usefulness via one of our often-encountered and favourite examples, the binary counter!
