Flowcode 8 Vlog 2: Blocks mode

Flowcode supports in the development of engineers who are new to programming microcontrollers. Instead of engineers worrying about becoming bogged down in the detail of text-based coding languages such as C++, Flowcode instead offers a graphical programming alternative to working with hardware targets including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, numerous PIC MCUs and more.

In version 8, we have introduced new programming modes to the IDE. For the first time, users can program in “Blocks” mode for example. This new programming paradigm can be likened to the way Blockly languages such as Scratch allow users to fix together jigsaw-like pieces in order to construct their microcontroller based projects.

Check out the short vlog below, which explains more.
