Science, Engineering, Technology by Matrix

In the past number of years, the growth of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education has been immense throughout not just UK, but global education. In the US market, we’ve seen the development of competitions such as First Robotics challenge students on a variety of STEM based principles, coming together in their thousands to showcase their skills on a national and international level.

Here in the UK, the F1 in Schools brand has gone from strength to strength as a platform for learning technology subjects associated with one of the most highly regarded global brands. We have also seen unprecedented numbers of students studying STEM related subjects since 2014.

“More students than ever have been accepted on to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) courses, according to new figures published by the Higher Education Funding Council (Hefce).” source.

Recently, we have also concentrated on developing solutions, fit for delivering high quality training across curriculum including Pearson’s BTEC qualifications in the UK.

With all this in mind, at Matrix we have spent the past number of years developing our offering for portfolio of high quality solutions aimed at giving technical education and vocational training providers a everything they need to deliver an engaging mix of curriculum based teaching. Our ranges now span a wide variety of Science, Engineering and Technology disciplines including:

In 2017, we launched our “SET” brand which is designed to encompass what we stand for.

Science, Engineering & Technology (SET) epitomises what we offer at Matrix.

Developing SET solutions requires a deep knowledge of the subject matter. We provide something unique and something different. Our solutions are designed to be what we refer to as “high-usage” equipment. They’re easily stored by colleges, universities and training centres and are always supplied with curriculum based schemes of work and examples, meaning users can easily pick up key principles out-of-the-box with minimal build effort.

We now operate across more than 40 countries, mainly through our network of established dealers (outside the UK). If you’re interested in learning more about what we can do with you, do not hesitate to get in touch today.
