What We’ve Been Up To…

It’s Liam here, Matrix’s Business Development Manager. It has been a busy week or two here at Matrix. Most of what we are sharing with you here on the blog is about Flowcode and our other product ranges.

Over the past couple of weeks our Managing Director, John has been in Thailand. He attended the World Didac Asia exhibition in Bangkok last week. It was a busy show and John got opportunity to showcase our whole product range to delegates at the show.

John then went on to Colombo, Sri Lanka for two really long meetings planning the activities of World Didac over the coming months. Our host was Chula Gangoda of Gangoda Associates in Sri Lanka. Chula organised a fabulous beach barbecue for the World Didac committee which you can see below.

Meanwhile, myself and two of our Engineering team, Paul Newill and Ben Rowland went along to Elektor Live in Hanau, Germany. Elektor, who are huge here and even bigger on the continent were fantastic hosts. The show took place in Congress Park, a modern and stylish venue.

We talked about Flowcode version 6 all day. It was great to have the input of numerous hobbyists and it’s good for our development team to get out and talk to end users as much as possible. We were blown away with the positive comments from people regarding Flowcode.

Delegates were really impressed with the test elements, the 3D system panel and the ease of use. As well as that loads of people wanted to know how to link existing C code into Flowcode 6 – something our Software Engineer, Jonny wrote about in this very blog a couple of weeks ago. I hope everyone is enjoying our blog – we are trying to post relevant ‘stuff’ for people and we are experiencing an impressive number of viewers which is good.
