Christmas Sudoku

Hello All, Just for Christmas a Sudoku in Flowcode. It is not an easy one. So if your are lonely, take your time to solve it. If you have friends and family at home, take care of them. Mery Christmas Jan Lichtenbelt Remarks: 1) Only Flowcode simulation has been tested 2) Suggestion to solve can be f...

Re: ASSEMPLY TUTORIAL PROBLEM

Dear Papaliouras Nikolaos It is not that simple. I read your descpition of the problem and I looked at the program. For me it is not possible to help you further. I'm sorry. In general: You have a LCD conencted to the PIC16F88. This makes debugging possible on an easy way. Show variables on the scre...

Re: Heatsink fan controll not go to chip

Dear cvanhal I started with you program and find some starting problems: 1) Init_count in the main macro is not initialised. The first step must be something like: Init_count=0 2) The loop by means of label A, can be easy replaced by a while-statement (this is only cosmetic) 3) The LCD must be start...

Re: servo not working

Dear Archillis,

Try this flowcode with 1 msec pulses for 1 sec and 2 msec pulses for 1 sec etc. etc. The repetition frequency of the pulses is 50 Hz.

Kind regards

Re: Build your own science lab. With ECIO PC Interface&Flowc

When getting the demo version at: http:// www . multiupload . com / K6NQN5K3W0, pay attention:

Do not click the big green DOWNLOAD knob, YOU GET A VIRUS,

but click on the smaller blue Direct download knob

Moreover, the demo time was just 2 minutes! To short to test anything.

Square root SQRT

Please find an itteration process to calculate the square root of a variable. This general ittertaion process can be used for any function, see flowcode.

Or is there a faster/better method for the square root value?

Kind regards

Fastest Sinus????

I still have a Textronix TM5003 function generator/counter. Is about 40 years old and makes a lot of noise. Time to get updated. Looking at internet I found function generator and counters but rather expensive. But as PIC microcontroller user, I thought that can be done easily! First some literature...

Transparent and Solid Drawbox of Graphic display

Drawbox has two parameters, Transparent and Solid. That means four combinations. See the picture with four boxes, all first filled with the number 100 and there after used Drawbox(...Transparent,Solid). Time- and Stack critical processes

Hi All, Programming a microcontroller can be done on machine level or with a higher programming language. Flowcode is an example of this last one. But to get Flowcode really work in a microcontroller it has to be translated in machine codes. Matrix Multimedia made this possible for you in a very goo...

Re: Comparator interrupt

Hi All, An example program with interrupts on 2 comparators with comparator reference voltage (CVRCON register) In this program Vref changes from 0 to 3.125 Volt in steps of about 0.2 Volt (208mV) If Vref crosses the input voltage on either RA0 or RA1 and interrupt will occur. Kind regards Jan Licht...

Re: Comparator interrupt

Thanks to Ben, now a comparator interrupt on the specific C1 output from Low to High change (See flowcode....V6).

This can be changed easily for all other three possibilities like C1 L->H, C2 L->H and C2 H->L.

Succes

Re: Internal Voltage Reference

Dear Dmitry In the datasheet of 16F1827 you see the reference voltage can be used for ADC. The register FVRCON has to be set to 0x82 (8 for FVR enabled and 2 for 2.048 V for ADC) You can realise this with the C-code: fvrcon= 0x82; And set ADC to the Vref+ with 205 x 10 mV reference voltage. Good Luc...

Re: Internal Voltage Reference

Hi Dmitry,

If you use an external oscillator, delete osccon. If you like to use the internal oscillator, you should set the SCS<1:0> enable bits of the osccon register to 10. That means osccon = 0x6A; should be used in stead of osccon = 0x68;

Kind regards

Re: Auto shut down PWM in 12F1840

I found the solution!! First I took the microcontroller out of the EB 006 board. I was afraid to use the osc PINs for other pruposes. Then I found out that the PWM was at other pins as expected (even with 8 pins that is possible!!). Route the PWM pins to RA4 and RA5 needs apfcon0x03; Kind regards Jan

Re: 32 mhz internal clock settings

Try osccon= 0xF0; for 32 MHz internal oscillator. (osccon=0x78; is indeed 16 MHz).

Pay attention: At 32 MHz the E_block LCD will fail to show data, due to to short waiting times (which will decraese a factor 20/32).

Kind regrads,

Re: Not seeing hardware UART receipt - anyone help?

Dear Christoph,

Be aware that using LPV not all pins can be used as output pins. Can that be the reason of not working correctly? Look in the datasheet of the microcontroller used.
