Re: ECIO 40 Keeps Flashing :-(

Ignore me. (Most people do).

(It always helps to install the drivers for a USB device after re-installing an OS)

Re: Flow code for MAC / Ipad

Ben is correct. Flowcode runs perfectly on any Intel Mac using either Bootcamp (free) or any version of Parallels and any version of Windows. I'm using Windows 7, 64 bit and it works perfectly including the hardware side of things. Just hold the "ALT" key when you plug a Matrix device in a...

Re: USB using 18f13k50

Hi Indana, What are you actually trying to do - is it the hardware side that is causing the problem? My config file is the one mentioned in the post above but certainly it doesn't work on the 14K50 variant only the 18F13K50. If you take your Flowcode file and compile to .hex you can *****IMPORT*****...

Re: Advice Sought: Flowcode V5 with ICD3 ?

I just "compile to hex" in Flowcode and then "Import" into MPLAB and into ICD3 from there. It works perfectly....

Re: Flowcode on an Apple computer.

Flowcode runs on any Apple device through Bootcamp or (better) Parallels. By using Parallels in Coherance mode you won't know the difference from it being on a Mac - all the windows etc are Mac based. As Ben Rowland or others in the Matrix Multimedia team will acknowledge I have run it on an Apple M...

Re: Flowcode on an Apple computer.

Once you have Parallels installed anything that is USB based will work perfectly and a lot of other stuff such as Parallel printer connected stuff, such as the Matrix Multimedia Dev boards that used that connection are fine with a USB to parallel port adaptor costing about a fiver from eBay. I use a...

Hi Brendan,

Fair point on the debugging..... If you need any prototypes building just let us know (down to 0402 on SMT) ;-}

Re: Personal Thank you!

May I also take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Matrix who I have dealt with for many many years. From technical support from DavidA and Ben to sales with Jane and Co etc the whole bunch are just great.

Thanks guys - I have yet to have a problem you haven't been able to solve :-}

Re: More Rotary Encoder Stuff...

Ever feel like banging your head on the desk? In fairness it's my first time on FC in three years but putting the Quad Encoder board into Port B when you're always looking for an interrupt on Port B is a better idea then having it in Port A and the LCD in Port B. Your example program is working OK B...

Re: USB PC Keyboard

Hi Steve, It wasn't that one but that is good to study regardless. I am trying to build a keyboard where the keys are pre-set so I press a button on an E-Block button bank and it sends an ascii code to the PC mimicking a keyboard. I have the HID thing sorted and a variation that Ben R helped with ba...
