Re: Using ADC & 5 Relays

Just a further thought, I would a sixth relay on the load side of the transformer... In the event of a situation when the stabilizer can not maintain the regulation within the desired range, it disconnects the load to prevent damage to the equipment supplied by the stabilizer. This should be easy to...

Re: Possible bug GPS module

Thanks Leigh, aaaahh...what you say makes sense, particularly with the high degree of variability across the range of cards. It was good to confirm that its operating as expected. The 700 msec init time is not going to be an issue I believe in most industrial applications as this call is generally m...

Re: Has anyone got the new EB006V9 to work yet?

I have just received my EB006 v9 this evening and could not get it to work out of the box. I am running Windows 7 After some time I have managed to get the unit running and here's what I did: plugging the device to a USB port and watch the win USB driver load successfully I then went into device man...

Re: ICSP - Pickit 3 Issue

Hi Graham, After looking at your schematic, I suspect that you are missing a 10k pull up resistor on the MCLR line... If this is floating then it can cause problems like you are experiencing . I would say that the pickit 3 when connected is pulling the MCLR line high and the pic is running... Discon...

Re: I2C V6

Just a thought... May not be helpful... Could you use an array d1, d2 etc. to store the telephone numbers....that way you can easily pump out variable by variable using i2c 8 bits per variable ..

Re: Ghost ICD comunication with ECIO ds PIC

Hi Chris, I am currently using ECIO40P16 and had exactly the same issues. Ben provided assistance in getting me going - thanks :!: So what I found was the default pin settings worked most reliably....moving away from the default settings produced unreliable results.... Also the Comms setting of 20 i...

Re: Access Violation Error and then Flowcode crashes

Hi Ben, I have exactly the same issue with MIAC... It is repeatable and it occurs about 5 -10 seconds after you go into simulation mode... Initially it was working ok at the start of the development, then it seemed to get to a point where it falls over all the time...it could be a number of macros t...

Re: Access Violation Error and then Flowcode crashes

Hi Ben,

added 10ms post the cursor macro... seems to be very stable.... 2ms was not quite enough...

I have added the delay as a variable to the project so I can set it it to zero when i do the final compile to the MIAC

thanks for sorting this... much appreciated

Re: Flowcode and GSM module

Hi Taimoor, Had a quick look at the spec sheet... Without out going too deep, it looks like the basic AT command set should work... I have recently done this with a dual GPS GSM sparkfun module using Flowcode component things to look out for... this module operates on 2.8 volts so make sure dev boar...

Re: Flowcode and GSM module

That should work, if you have access to a CRO then you could confirm the peak to peak voltage of the waveform...just to be sure Matrix have a gsm board... Look down further in your student tutorial notes it references flowcode 5 and the Matrix gsm eblock EB066..you can buy it online... http://www.ma...

Re: Looking for advice: Temp and Humidity

Hi Peter, I would give your signee units a go... They have both analogue and digital inputs that can interface with your sensors...if you have the advance versions containing a co processor you can run Python scripts to gather and process data... For now to get started, all you need to do is send by...

Re: FlowCode Version Converter and Viewer

Hi team,

I would like to add my support to this idea.... I use my iPad quite a lot to view the forums, I would be great to view charts on the iPad...view only would be ideal...

I understand that MM have a lot on at the moment, however this would be great feature..

Re: Gas flow meter/pressure and O2 measurement

Hi Giovanni, I would recommend that your starting point is to find industrial grade sensors that are suited to your task. For example the difficult bit is usually physically interfacing the sensor into the plumbing (pipework) of the system that you're trying to monitor. Given the industrial solution...

Re: Load Cell HX711

Hi George, Attached is a macro is created in fc6, it will also work in fc7. It reads 24 bits of data from the hx711 chip....the project I used this for was a 4 load cell scale connected in a Wheatstone bridge config. Import the macro into your project and call it as a routine. Note - given the sensi...
