Re: 18F4455 issue - config

Hello Pete, Your config looks good to me and you should always be able to ID the chip. First thing I would try is to unplug the EB006 from the power for 20 seconds, then insert the USB cable and then the PSU and try autodetecting the chip. Maybe also check your jumpers are in correctly, sometimes th...

Re: VNET issue

Hello Pete,

The communications will go via the local loopback adapter rather then out to a router if your using the Vnet on a single PC. The Vnet server application listens to requests from both the loopback adapter and from the connection to the router.

Re: EB006 rev. 7 "unknown device"

Hi Pete,

The device is a fairly low current schottky diode. It is connected to the bottom left hand side of J29 when looking from the underside. The diode's anode is connected to the bottom middle pin and the cathode is connected to the bottom left pin.

Re: gLCD printing number Problem

Hi Pete,

Have you tried turning off the transparency setting for the print macro?

Also you could print a string of spaces and this would effective clear an area of the screen.

Re: gLCD printing number Problem

Hi Pete I've been playing with one of the gLCDs myself they are a nice little display. Just as a quick replay rearding point 3. I dont think you can print characters like the degree symbol by using the ascii code on these displays. With a standard LCD like the EB-005, the charaters are programmed in...

Re: gLCD printing number Problem

For reference here is the default font look up table. You can edit any of the unused characters in your program to allow for alternate characters. 0x00 , 0x00 , 0x00 , 0x00 , 0x00 , // 32 = <space> 0x00 , 0x06 , 0x5F , 0x06 , 0x00 , // 33 = ! 0x07 , 0x03 , 0x00 , 0x07 , 0x03 , // 34 = " 0x24 , ...

Re: Flowkit

FlowKit works with all those devices.

The only other way to use Flowcode's ICD feature is to use the EB006 (v7 or later) which has this built in.

Re: float2int

Hello Pete,

You could add this line of code to the supplementary code window to resolve the problem.

Code: Select all

#define float32_from_int32(a)   ((float)(a))

Let me know how you get on.

Re: float2int

Hello Pete, 0) This is a bug and is due to the fact we got the name of one or two of the float conversion functions a bit wrong. This has now been fixed for future revisions. 1) FC PIC has the float functions built into the compiler. AVR, ARM and dsPIC do not have the functions and do not need to us...

Re: Flowkit

Hi Pete, I seem to remember first coming across the EEPROM bug on the Microchip forum. I believe it is a bug in the EEPROM silicone but I could be wrong on this. When you are selecting the port is it PORTC_H because if it is then pins 5, 6 and 7 should actually refer to the PORTC pins 13, 14 and 15 ...
