Re: TriState with PWM

Hi,
Once the PWM is disabled, it should go back to tristate condition, so no input required.

Re: Changing only specified bits od bytes

Use & (and) to save the bits you want to keep by adding them with 1 bits, and | (or) to add the new bits. For the first byte: New = (old & 0b11110001) | (0b00001100 & 0b00001110) I've added the second and to make sure only the relevant bits of the new value will be used. (Mask the other ...

Re: Using built in comparators on the dsPCI33EP

Hello, Comparators are not something we currently support, purely because there are so many different devices with completely incompatible comparator setups. Have you read through section 25 of the device datasheet and also the additional in depth resource for comparators. Device datasheet - http://...

Re: I2C issues dsPIC33EP

Hi.

I asked because I had a similar issue with 10K resistors on a dsPIC30Fxxx MCxxx device with 400Khz baud rate , I reduced them to 4.7K an it worked .
not saying it is the issue but could be

Good luck :D

Re: I2C issues dsPIC33EP

I agree with QMESAR it looks like your pull up resistor values might be too high.

1K - 4K7 pull ups should work a lot better or try at a slower speed.

Re: UART CRC Check

Hello, Yes that should be fine. First create a byte variable named CRC and initialise it to 0. Next create a loop icon that will run 8 times, you need to run this loop for every byte you send or receive so it might make sense to put the loop in a macro you can call when sending or receiving bytes. N...

Re: LCD's on FC8

Hello, Flowcode 8 has the following alphanumeric displays, you probably want the configurable one which can be set to a 8x2 display. AlphaDisplays.jpg If you have a datasheet for your display then it will contain a character map showing the characters built into the display. Simply combine the upper...

Re: LCD's on FC8

Hello,

Looks like your components may not be fully up to date. Open a project and then click Help -> Check For Updates.

In the bottom left hand corner change "Files in use" to "Full database" and this should get you the latest of everything.

Re: Potential project requiring minimium 180Mhz clock speed

Hello I use the PIC32MZ2048 and it's working fine with FC8. I let the PIC run with 200Mhz. One board from olimex (PIC32-HMZ144) for a good price is here and you will have enough free pins... https://www.olimex.com/Products/PIC/Development/PIC32-HMZ144/open-source-hardware regards Stefan

Re: Flowcode V5 has stopped working

I updated the NET framework, and Flowcode still would not run.
I then looked at all the optional updates from windows, and installed all of them.
That has sorted out the problem, and Flowcode is running again. :D
Thanks for the help.

Re: Flowcode V5 has stopped working

Hello, This seems to be linked to a recent Windows update which has effected the VB components used by Flowcode 5 and previous. We have reports that another even more recent Windows update has fixed the problem. So maybe try and run Windows update and check for the latest updates. https://www.matrix...

Re: Parity Check for SPI

Ok A simple bit count macro - and a test 'main' that just counts the bits in random numbers and spits the result to UART (with a 1s delay to give you a chance to check the result :-) ) Note that I'm counting 16 bits (of a WORD) here - you can modify if needed to count 12 or ignore bit 0 as required....
