Re: Compatible with WINDOWS 8.1

Hello, We currently have not done any Windows 10 testing but it is on the plan once Win10 is near completion and we are not aware of any immediate problems. Some early Win10 testers reported that a key component of our licensing system no longer works but this problems seems to have been resolved now.

Re: FC7 Professional - Compiler XC8

Thanks for the comments. Regarding the message about the "free version", this is being generated by the XC8 compiler we are using. Unfortunately, the paid-for versions of this compiler are quite expensive and we were unable to bundle these with Flowcode because the price would have increas...

Re: FC7 Professional - Compiler XC8

Steve Would it be possible for people like myself which has valid licenses for the professional XC compilers to let FC7 use...

Re: save the project

I agree it's a problem with Flowcode, but as we cannot replicate the problem it is difficult to fix. We will continue to try to solve it.

Re: New Hidden LCD Component

You make a common mistake, there are actually 5 LCD Displays listed. "LCD (Generic)" and 4 more specific types "LCD (Generic, 20x4)", "Combo Board (EB063)", "LCD (EB005, 16x2)" and "LCD (I2C)". You can add the "LCD (Generic)" display to the...

Re: Flowcode 7 - Data Sheet

Thanks for letting us know, your right that is certainly a mistake and we will get it resolved ASAP.

If you bought the MiscA pack and wanted the Mechatronics pack instead then let me know and we should be able to swap the purchased packs on your account for you.

Re: Bug Fixes

Hello, I believe the current release version is v7.0.0.4 This is not the original release but is also a bit outdated now. We have another release planned in a couple of weeks time that contains many fixes but in the mean time I could do with posting a what's changed page. I'll make it a priority for...

Re: save the project

Hello, What GPU does Steve have? It's a laptop that Steve uses so I would guess it's an on-board Intel GPU. I have a gaming laptop with a Nvidia 670M however it has a dual mode with an on-board Intel GPU and the Nvidia card is only fired up when needed to save power so not 100% sure which is being u...

Re: save the project

Thanks for all your investigations on this.
I've been running into similar issues on my PC, which has NVIDIA adapter.
But running the latest (pre-release) executables from our dev team I am no longer seeing the issue.
So no doubt you will benefit from the next update release :D

Re: FC7 Professional - Compiler XC8

Hello, Many thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated. Didn't realise you would get quite that much of a boost in the maths! In BoostC the floating point maths library was added after the compiler was created. The library to support floating point was written by a third party and not the main c...

Re: FC7 Professional - Compiler XC8

Hi Thank you for sharing this info it is very interesting I always liked the XC8 better that any other compiler I worked with and looking at the way Microchip is improving the compilers and even the 16F chips is amazing these little 16F1 chips with core independent peripherals take a huge load easil...

Re: One Wire Fails

Hello, I have just tried the example from the URL below on a 16F1937 running at 19.6608MHz and it seems to be working fine in v7 to read a DS18S20+ sensor. http://www.matrixtsl.com/wikiv7/index.php?title=Component:_ID_64b26b13_68cf_4a92_8616_e882b7c71023 Are you powering the sensor or using the para...

Re: FlowCode Mini Conference / Exchange / Training

When thinking (mini) conference, keep in mind many forum users are spread around the world. Travelling to the UK to attend an event would be costly and time consuming. Having a virtual event of some kind would be good, may-be using hangout or equivalent. Would be even better of it could be recorded ...

Re: Test & Debug - Code profiling

Hi Dave, One way around this without adding any extra components is by adding a test variable with the initial value being 0. Then add a branch to call the interrupt macro which branches only when the test variable is say 100. You can setup key mapping so when you press a key of your choice, it assi...

Re: FC7 Professional - Add Test DeBug Pack Fail

Hi Dave, Thanks for letting us know and I'm glad you got everything up and running. Re: Test & Debug - Code profiling

Hi Dave, Your welcome. I have created an example for you. Not sure if it's entirely what you're after? There is a switch connected to activate port B IOC. If you run the flowchart simulation then: Click on the switch to trigger port IOC so LCD increases on each switch press and release. Or Make sure...
