Re: Flow code 5 to my Chip PIC16F1826

Benj you are a wizard.

Thank you so much I down loaded the ZIP file and placed the files into the Flowcode 5 PICKIT 2 directory and it worked first time.

:D John

Maybe you could post the link for other users with PICKIT 2 and Flowcode 5.

Re: URGENT help on PIC16F1827

Hello Martin, Martin I must say I'm so happy that you are helping me with this project. I was so close in giving up on the PIC and my investment because I was completely out of option. Your vision is wonderful. Then I can use the RA 1 pin as the TX for the TTL and GRD I see the RA1 is a bidirectiona...

Re: Like to read Port B then send to Port D

It was very surprising that the PIC 16F1937 was causing the problem with the LCD. Glad we got down to the route of the problem in the end. What through me was the resistance with LCD disconnected between pin pin12 and grown resistance was lower than it should have been. You can load the servo test p...

Re: Like to read Port B then send to Port D

Excellent information I think the setting of 215 is going to work. I have 3 of the 7 position correct so when they flip the display is horizontal. The bracket the hold the display has a slot for the horn to fit into. I have to get the horn on the shaft in the correct position. I think I will use a d...

Re: PICkit2 reported error code 36

Hi all Martin is a wizard with magic. Martin it would wonderful if there was a "Wiki" page with a nice clean example of the ( 2 ) settings for PICkit2 users and the ( 2 ) files. Martin if I just purchased Flowcode 6 I find it very odd that they would not have added the EXE and DAT files to...

Re: Race Car Timer not working on PIC

Hello Martin

I thought I had checked everything from my old and very old notes but as the day is long I forgot about the OSC and the Bias resistor.

Corrected then and my Grand kids really enjoyed the action of the simple timer. My first Flowcode 6.

Thank you for your help.

Re: Port B7 Problems

Hello Leigh I found the cause with PortB.7 The design for the PicKit2 is to have a Bias resistor of 10K to 5V. That was causing the portB7 to not work with a Logic 1 because the 10K was holding the Port to Logic 1. I changed my code to send a Logic 0 and now I can trigger the other PIC. All the Best...

Re: Hex back to flowcode

Thank you Kersing

I had a strong feeling it wouldn't be possible.

I have the old one and trying to remember my changes from 2017 to the one I loaded into the project. The project worked 95% and I had some ideas to make it a little better then my Laptop crashed.

Thank you all for your support in making it happen

With setting FC default OFF I was able to generate a Hex file.

Then I used MPLAB and it loaded my design. My Design needs a little work but I have a plan.

All the best to all.

PIC18F26K80 not working in the real world

I have been Trying and trying to get the PIC18F26K0 to work with NFR905 with LCD Yes I can program but it will not receive from the Master TX. I think it is related to the PIC18 overall purpose. I have included a Pin Allocation design. The PIC18 loads and I see the 'Main Page" and then the prog...
