Re: Question License problem

Hi Peter, Glad I could help. Thanks for letting us know. I actually purchased the full package for Microchip PIC and dsPIC I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Flowcode makes programming so easy I have stuck with it since 2007. Once you get to know how powerful it is then the skys the limit as they s...

Re: CAN Read Problem PIC18F4585

You can enter hexadecimal values, just prefix them with 0x. So 513 can be entered as 0x201.

Re: Flowcode 6.1 Released!

Hi Peter, I just downloaded the new version, changed .man extension to .msi (if not already been corrected). Then just installed without uninstalling the previous version, since the installer automatically removes all files that has to be updated prior to adding new files. Also when you run Flowcode...

Re: Flowcode 6.1 Released!

Have you got another browser you can use?
You could just set it as a default browser for downloading purposes:

Re: Addition for a BLDC Motor(PMSM Machine )

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your suggestion.

I've added it to the list of potentials so we can have a look and see how easy it would be to achieve.

Re: USB Serial Driver?

Hi Dave, Yep just config and clock speed settings. Full speed USB runs at 12M bits per second, a PIC has a speed of 1 instruction cycle per 4 clock cycles so to get USB to work the device needs to be running at 48MHz. The onboard PLL (phase locked loop) built into the oscillator circuit takes your 4...

Re: USB Serial Driver?

Hi Dave,

Thanks that's great.

Please can you try compiling this to the chip and hopefully the USB should then start working correctly.

Re: What Tool is needed for Gost Function

Hi QMESAR, To make the most out of debugging and Ghost, you will need EB006V9 Then you will be able to use ICD and view variables and set break points with hardware and run in real time until break point is reached. Also EB006V9 will allow to use the built in scope which will display in real time si...

Re: What Tool is needed for Gost Function

Hi Peter, This looks (HP299 Flowkit)a bit more like and equivalent to the Microchip ICD The HP299 will work with Flowcodes own ICD just like EB006V9 except it won't have the ghost compatibility therefore will not work with the scope. That's why I did not mention it at the time as I was only posting ...

Re: PIC18F65K80 hardware programming

I can select your target device using MPLAP, which means you can use PICkit3 via MPLAB to send hex to target.
unfortunately, I don't believe you can use the standalone PK3 programmer to program PIC18F65K80.
I could be wrong so searching the web for an answer.

Re: Input Capture- Component

Hi Peter, There is not one correct way. I would start by creating a flowchart with the required code to get it working. If at that point you want to reuse the code multiple times you can use the working code to create a component. (BTW, macros can be exported for reuse as well) A component is basica...

Test Based Applications - Have your say

Hi all, One of the key new features in Flowcode 6 is the ability to operate in a 'live mode' where users can acquire and stream test data directly into Flowcode. This data can then be manipulated, or used to control other processes. This can be achieved using our own hardware, such as the ECIO or MI...
