Counter using EB008 Quad 7Seg Display

I received a EB008 Eblock today, So I decided to created an application that can be used for batch counting or other counting applications. (Flowcode V4) With EB008 plugged into port A and B. Portc 0 is trigger and portc1 is reset. Counter increments one at a time from 0 to 9999 with no flickering e...

Re: Timer not working

Hello D.Bouchier. The main issue is having a delay within your interrupt. This delay is occurs for a longer duration than the interrupt takes to fire which is a big no no. Any delays or component macros which also have delays should not be used within timer interrupts. Also you have got your timer i...

Re: Flowcode 4 / Miac compile error

Hiya D.Bouchier Take the first calculation box as an example. Could It be you are assigning a string in a calculation box with an integer? E.g. K_Pompperiodes[] = 14580000 K_Pompperiodes is a string not a byte or an interger. So you should drag a String manipulation box (not a calulation box). Withi...

Re: EB006 Multi Programmer QUESTION!!

Sorry typo I meant j3 not j5..like you said getting late and font is fairly small sorry about that. But you should not have 4.1Vdc on +V of terminal block J1, if you have then connection wire form programmer to LCD diisplay is open circuit or missing. Make sure wire is connected from +V of EB006 to ...

Re: EB006 Multi Programmer QUESTION!!

Hi there. In your previous post, You mentioned something about LVP programming. I checked the 'I/O output'/'LVP PROG' jumpers (labeled: J11, J16 and J17) on the EB006 Multi Programming board, and I noticed that they were all on the 'I/O Ouput' side. LVP PROG jumpers must all be on I/O Low voltage p...

Re: EB006 Multi Programmer QUESTION!!

Yes you are correct. You do need a wire going from +V on programmer to the +V on the the switch board. As previously stated most Ebocks require an external +5V connected to them via a wire form EB006 with the exception of LED Eblock. If you are not sure, then take a look at the data sheet for the Eb...

Hello jollybv Sorry about that. I realised that after posted it, so I modified it to work correctly and posted it an hour later. Have a look at the post Wed Oct 27, 2010 2:16 pm that has a corrected V3 version, which has not been downloaded yet. As stated above, it works from number 0 to 999. and I ...

That's great! Glad its working for you. Thanks for letting us know. It works very well now. I used both solutions. Its up to you of course, but either method should work on there own. How can I give you thanks in the forum because I did not handle. To give thanks, just click on the thumbs up (next t...

Re: Button Press

Hi is there any way of being able to press several buttons at once? This is very hard to simulate in Flowcode as you can't press more than one button at a time. As there is a possibility of a stuck button or the user pressing a button at the wrong time the buttons are checked at program start-up so...

Re: Unhappy e-blocks customer

Hello Carl. Im not sure if this will help you get any further, But this is how I enter keys (from one of my other posts): You will have two sets of keys: 6 sets of 6 chars which determine type of licence you have. 7 sets of 6 chars which is paired to your registered name. Easiest way is during insta...

Hello cobbp First make sure you have Target Speed in project options correctly set . Now go to Mechatronics menu and select PWM It will then place an PWM component on to your panel If You can't see your panel , then go to view menu and select panel. If you have only 1 pwm on your target then you wil...

Is your Project Not working? Help and General Advice

Here are some basic solutions. First make a very simple 1Hz flasher, using an LED and something like 270R resistor in series. E.g: Loop while 1 A0=1 Delay 500ms A0=0 Delay 500ms If LED not flashing at correct rate (or at all) then check: A) All voltages are correct. VDD or VCC = +5V. VSS or VEE=0V. ...

Re: Strings

Hiya jollybv, What I would do is first convert string to an integer then use a decision branch if int=1 do something, if int=45 do something else etc Here is how you can convert string to integer (much easier with V4 as you have string to int function): Number = ( Input_string[0] - 48 ) * 100 + ( In...

The calculation is after you have got the whole string. Take a look at this example within attached flowchart. Re: Latching switches?

Hiya TomasS The Very simplest way to toggle bits of a port in flowcode is like this: Bit Toggle.jpg Or you can control individual bits of a byte by: Bit_Toggle = (Bit_Toggle XOR 0b11111111) AND 1 in a calculation box. The value of 1 on the right is the bit of the byte you want to toggle. E.g to togg...

Simple bit bang method to vary LED brightness using POT

This was created with Flowcode V4 to vary LED brightness from really Dim to bright. Method uses a pot to control duty cycle of a bit bang PWM. Target Chip = 16F887 Osc = int 4MHz Approx PWM Freq= 193 Hz As usual using Flowcode the target chip can be changed. However, if using a different chip, then ...

Not using C code, as I prefer to use non C
It does appear to work OK.
Not sure if value for the 1st loop is correct?
It may need to be increased to 12?

Re: display and save number

So holding switch down for different lengths of time will even a few ms diff...
