Re: ICSP cable length

Hi Jan,
Have you tried placing a small load of about 4K7 between data & 0V + clock & 0V?
Not sure if it will make a difference, but it could be electrical noise is changing the programming waveform with longer lengths of cable?

Re: Integrate PICKIT into flowcode

2019_10_24_08_07_41_Integrate_PICKIT_into_flowcode_Matrix_user_forums.png You need to have the Default compiler for the platform C for PIC selected. Flowcode will compile and program using whatever Compiler option is ticked (which is shown as a bold font). In your case the Default is selected, henc...

Re: Stuck in a while loop

Hi panuj417 , I have moved your post, so not hijacking a members topic. One issue is you are reading the value of a button, if the value is true, then the loop is accessed. There is not a button to read within the loop, so the value will never go from 1 to 0. You can just place another Button ReadSt...

Re: PIC18F47J53 ICD (Flowkit ) Not working

Hi Ben, We've come across the INTOSC + ICD problem before in v5, here we fixed it by adding a custom override to one of the components which was a bit easier to do but a bit more hidden and less intuitive. I wanted to do something similar with the INTOSC helper but I think it requires API changes to...

Re: Pic16F1618 UART Remap

If the 1sec flash test is ok,
Have you tried moving send string function to before the decision branch to eliminate connection issues?
Do you have a scope or logic analyser?
If no then this is what I do if terminal not displaying correct text.

Re: Pic16F1618 UART Remap

Hi Brian,
Just wanted to make sure as much is covered as possible.

So long as you have checked you are using the latest version (8.2.1.14), sounds like you have gone as far as you can go.
This possibly requires a fix from Martix.

No problem,
I have moved topic to the V7 bugs section.
Out of curiosity,
Have you got the latest V7 update posted here?

Re: Increase/Decrease a variable Value on a press of a button

Hi Derrihj,
Mine is not printing floating point, its printing bytes (0 to 255).
If you have a floating point, you can convert it to string (FloatToString function), then print string.

The flowchart you posted compiles for me ok. Can you select Help, about flowcode and state what version you have? This is the latest version: Latest Flowcode.png Have you tried updating all? Re: error compiling on pic18f26k22

I would suggest you uninstall current version, download and install latest version.
At least if we run the exact same version, then that's one less variable removed.
Can you also post all the compiler message?

Re: V8 Worth the Upgrade?

I can not agree with this ,Ben and Leigh I see every day a few times searching the forums and helping people, If I look at the bug reports it is limited and I never saw any SW which does not have bugs and issues however in my opinion FC bugs get solved by MATRIX and even by the users on this forum....

Re: PIC16F1825 IOC Interrupt

Hi Dirk,
Have you selected the pins and how you would like them triggered?
Interrupt_properties.png

If so, are you saying they just don't work?
Do you have either internal weak pull-up, external pull-up or pull-down resistors?
If not I/P's could be floating.

Re: Heart beat Pulse measurement.

Personally, If it was me, I would go ahead and purchase hardware as the Flowcode side will be fairly easy to implement. For example I would use an interrupt to time for 250mS. Then use the digital output and count the pulses using INT interrupt. Then after 250ms timer interrupt has elapsed, times co...

Re: Heart beat Pulse measurement.

i would like to learn why do you use Rollover Value as 250 and not 255. With interrupts the rollover value forces the interrupt register to rollover when it reaches the set value, thus causing the interrupt to be triggered. The rollover, Prescaller & Postscaller rates are specifically chosen to...

Re: Heart beat Pulse measurement.

Have have made some changes to your flowchart. 1. Count = 0 is required after Counter = Count * 4 otherwise Result will Keep increasing until rollover. 2. Changed Time variable from Byte to integer since value will be greater then 255. If ByteVariable = 255 then result of ByteVariable = ByteVariable...
