Re: Gyroscope L3G4200D

Just to close this topic, i have finished my flow code file and would like to share it as a example for others reading :) it checks to make sure the communication to the device is working properly, and then gives you a x, y and z reading from the sensor and displays that on a LCD screen, useful to b...

Re: flowcode licences ?

Thanks for letting us know.

Let us know if it happens again or if you find a way to replicate it.

It's not a problem we are currently aware of.

Re: LED Array Pin Labels

Right I've had a pass through and think I have fixed the label problems.

Simply extract the attached archive to your "Flowcode 7/components" folder, restart Flowcode and the problems should be fixed.

LED_Labels.zip

Let me know how you get on.

Re: Read out on oscilloscope not working ?

Hi

I'm running W8.1 and latest Flowcode and components.

Your program runs fine on my machine, which I know isn't much help to you, so it may just be related to W10?

Re: FC8

I had a different reaction to the release. Simulating C code... this is awesome! Same with me I have a different reaction . Simulation C Creating an Icon from your C code Code Folding That you only need to install the tool-chains you use is awesome not having compilers automatically installed sitti...

Re: Help Files

Hi Martin,

So following your link, again Matrix have chosen to make 'statements' about their software other than having a proper help system for each and every command which we then can use and learn from.

Re: FC8

With every new 'paid for' release of (any) software, I always need to justify if the new features are of value to me. To fully upgrade my FC7 to FC8 is around 350GBP. I use FC in a mix of personal and some small commercial applications so I appreciate my position is different to some pure hobby user...

Re: FC8

I agree - despite only having had Flowcode 7 for less than a year... The new features look to give a compelling reason to upgrade (code folding/grouping does it for me along with the automatic upgrades). A few things irritate - upgrading some packs isn't half price (the AVR pack has split into two (...

A few user interface tweaks...

From initial use I have a few early suggestions however... Copying over the template schemes from ...

Re: Wishlist for V8

Comparing Flowcode to Arduino with regards to components supported is not fair. For Arduino almost all components are created and provided by 3th parties. Whenever Adafruit and the like 'create' a new piece of hardware they make sure there is a library for it. Creating a library for Arduino is less...

Frequency Generator 500 to 3000Hz (Expandable) in 25Hz Steps

Flowcode attached will generate a frequency of 500 to 3000Hz in 25Hz Steps. Duty is maintained at 50%. The frequency can go a lot higher as flowchart does not use lookup tables or is limited to clock frequencies. Only limited to 3000Hz as that was requested in this post. It will use any clock freque...

Scada examples

Hi Matrix team,

I would love to see some more examples of using Scada using PIC8 or Arm.
I think the examples don't explain to much on what you can do and with what chips you can do it with.

Thanks,

Re: How to enter delay as a time in the Calculation box.?

Hi Roy, You're welcome, Glad it's working for you. Yes, you will need to change the variable type to reflect the value you're after. For example, if you require a 300ms delay and the variable used is a byte, then the actual delay will be 300 - 256 = 44ms The is because if you add 1 to a byte value o...
