Re: C CODE TO FC8 CONVERSION

Hi SILVESTROS9 Life would be easy if you could import such C-code directly into Flowcode. As far as I see, the c-code itself will not be the biggest problem. But this c-code uses libraries on line 63-66: #include "msp430f5132.h" #include "hal_tlv.h" #include<string.h> #include<st...

Hi Monie,

Try to add a delay of at least 300 msec after the printstring.

Hi Ben I tried to find out which pins are there on the E-Block2 programmerboard BL0080 connector. The scheme shows: Hart-flex f connections on programmerboard BL0060.jpg But, by means of resistance measurements, I found: Harting connector on BL0080 programmer board.jpg The resistance is 27R, as expe...

Future request

To connect my own PCB's to the EBlock2 programmer board BL0080, I would suggest an adapter from the 16 pins connector to a 15 pins SUB-D. In the 16 pins connector, there are 2 pins with GND. One of them can be deleted in de sub-D 15p. I konw there is alreday an adpter to SUB-D 9 pins, but there the ...

Re: Building string in one or more steps

Hi Martin

The second line declares the error result I get, which shows the Alarm_Time to preceed all other strings.

FCI_SHEAD(FCI_TMP_STR,20, FCI_TOSTRING(FCV_ALARM_TIME, FCI_TMP_STR,20),20, FCI_TMP_STR,20);

Building string in one or more steps

I wanted a string which is the sum of 4 other strings. First I did it in one step like STRING = str1+ str2+str3+str4 (1) This works in simulation, but gave the wrong result in practice with the microchip. Buiding the string step by step results in the correct string. Like STRING= str1 STRING= STRING...

Delete unsued variables, macros, etc not completly

I used an old flowcode and deleted all variables, macro's etc. and added my new flowcode. But try to compile to HEX and see the errors.

Sorry Test_Timer1_V2.fcfx was the wrong file. This is the correct one.

Hi Martin,

I used more microchips 16F18857. That can not be the reason. The config word is shown below. I use the same config word for programming the microchip on the programming board BL0080 and by means of ICSP. It is still a puzzle for me.

Re: How to send GSM international phone code?

Can someone help me with the problem of the error code 255 if a SMS has sent correctly?
I have the feeling that the return code is always 255, independent if the SMS has been sent correctly or not.

Change variable names with left arrow procedure, changes all equal variables. Using the procedure with the right arrow, the variables does not change.
I always uses the last one, which resulted in my request.

ISCP is working fine with a 10 cm connection between the programming BL0080 board and the microchip 16F1847. If I exchange the microchip with the 16F18857, ISCP is not working correctly. automatically change local variable names

If you change the name of a global variable, in all places of this variable in the program, the variable name will be changed at the same time. If you change the name of a local variable, the same variable in the macro does NOT change into the new name. Perhaps can the automatically change of local ...

Re: Floating Point Math

Hi Smartmultienergy

The result of a comparision will be in general a boolean instead of byte.

boolean= float_eq(float, float)
The boolean will be true or false (with values 1 and 0 respectively)

If you use byte= float_eq(float, float), byte will also be 1 or 0.

Re: EEPROM losses data

Hi Etsdriver, Thanks for your help. The problem is, if you expect the EEPROM to be erased by loading the hex file, you have to take other actions compared to the case the EEPROM will not be erased. Fortunately it can be easily checked by the particular EEPROM address to be 255 or <255. Kind regards ...

EEPROM losses data

A simple flowcode reads first and then writes data from and to an EEPROM. In this case a simple string "Hello" has been used. After programming the microchip the string read should be empty. So far so good. The second and following starts of this microchip should read "Hello" fro...

Essential is the global definition Keypad_to_Acsii with the wanted characters. This can be easily changed. This list must be extended with 255 for "not pressed". Two macros completes all: Get_Keypad and WiatUntilRealeased.
