Re: ARM Debate

Hello, I was about to ask the same Matt! I share the opinion here, in a previous comment, that the PIC32 would be a logical step, and I have a particular preference for the Microchip MCU family within one programming environment. However a few customers use ARM, specifically STM32F(103) devices appe...

Hi,

Has this been resolved/ updated on here somewhere?
Having the same problem corrupting the program!

Thanks

Re: Hardware PWM LED

Hi Acestu, I have moved PWM Enable out of the loop, this only needs to be called once. As long as the PWM is enabled the port will be set correctly (no C Code). Not sure about the PWM / LED component simulation working! I've not used the '877 for a long time but it should work on hardware. I've atta...

gLCD (EB076/uLCD32-PT-sgc) Bargraph

Hi all, Attached is a simple Flowcode V5 program to generate a bar graph on a gLCD (EB076/ uLCD32-PT- sgc) in *LANDSCAPE view. I used the uLCD32-PT-sgc, not E-Blocks. The program uses an 18F26K22 target device @ 64MHz ( x4 pll enabled /C. Code). It is very basic, displays the ADC value as a number, ...

Re: Flowcode v5.5 with DSP for all variants

Hello Xavier, My understanding is that DSP is possible on almost any an 8 bit micro from "midrange" upward, but will be for less critical control applications, due to resolution and speed, not forgetting lack of the "dsp engine". The examples posted are for Flowcode V5 for ds PIC. PIC micros specifi...

Re: component Values ?

Hi Acestu, I haven't used Proteus for a while but I am sure you can define track sizes in the "Netlist" and "Routing Strategies" properties. i.e. If you have a standard size for signal, power, layers, you can pre-define track width/ vias etc., and transfer this data to Ares. I personally use Abacom ...

Re: PWM using Flowcode V5

Hi Guys, Be aware that the 16F628a does not have an ADC, only comparator inputs! I'm sure they'll be a snippet of code somewhere on here to do the light level detection with the comparator. See post regarding 16F628a: http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/mmforums/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=10681 ...and... Welc...

Re: resistors question(s)

Hi Jordy,

I did a search and found this online.
Please see attached file.
It is a little involved with detail. :?

Re: resistors question(s)

Hi Jordy, It is to reduce noise. This can be due to impedance mismatch in track or devices that cause signal bounce or reflections. These can be mistakenly interpreted as extra pulses. Though not in this instance as the MAX3002 is a level shifter, but mixed CMOS circuits also include these sometimes...

Re: Do you know Flowcode equivalent for programming PC softw

Hello Mathy,

You could try Profilab 4 from Abacom
http://www.abacom-online.de/uk/html/pro ... xpert.html
Many predefined components and external boards to "connect", easily connect to USB (FTDI or similar) com or regular rs232/ parallel ports etc.

Re: 16f628a

Hi Jorgen,

I'm afraid that the 16F628A has only 2 analogue comparators, no A/D converters.

The 16F88 is pin compatible and does have A/D.

Best Regards

Servo C Compiler Error

Hello,

I am getting compiler errors when I add the "servo macros"
Attached are the "cut down" versions of my program.

I have the latest V5.1 Pro. install.
My old V4 Pro. seems to show similar errors!

Re: MCP4921 DAC SPI Help Please

Hello Jordy, One of the first things I notice is Bit 12. This is SHDN 1 = Output / 0 = No output. "Send Upper Half: 0b001 0 1111 (First 4 bytes are config bytes, others are data bytes)" So config. 0b0011xxxx (with BUF/buffer 0b0111xxxx) Clock settings. The clock I have from your download is set to 1...
