Re: 4D systems connection

Ben, The reset you mentioned worked to a point. However what seems to be the problem is a timing issue. The pic seems to slow down when in the main loop. What happens is when the button is pressed on the 4d screen nothing happens unless you manage to get the press at the right time in the main loop ...

Re: 4D systems connection

Ben,
Thanks I will give that a try. And yes all the delays are working properly. I put them in to make sure it does, just a visual check. Will try your advice tonight and let you know.

Re: PIC to PIC Comms

Thanks, am now trying to work on RS232. Again to no avail. Could someone please have a look at my progs and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Hardware wise the two pics are connected together via TX1 and RX1 (25 & 26), and yes Tx-Rx.

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I can't seem to located all the output components as in the earlier version of 6. IE: the display options has dropped to 2 and are of not what I need or have had been using before.
Am I missing something?

Re: LCD 18F45K20

I have this working now, sort of. I made a test file.
which works fine occasionally. Problem is it will work, then I turn it off, turn back on and nothing. Is there a code protect or something that needs to be set?

Error Code when compiling

Hi, am having trouble compiling.
First up is that I cant get past number of syntax errors while having LED array on either of the panels.
Second is When the LED array has been removed, I get an ERROR CODE 1 when compiling.

Any ideas please?

I have been using the PICKit2 to programm my 16F690 projects. Now I am needing to use the PIC 16F676. What can I use to programm this item? Will the evaluation board that came with the PICKit2 be sufice or will I need another?

Does anyone know of a SSOP20 or SOIC20 holder, so as to be able to programm it then solder it onto the board?
