Re: Blue box

Hi Jan,

CTRL-B is adding a bookmark to your flowchart, so you can find your position easier later on, or you can even place multiple bookmarks and search through them. To remove it, press CTRL-B again on the flowchart icon below it.

Re: FC7 bug help !

Hi xelites, I have downloaded your attached file, and it does not crash on my computer when I increase simulation speed to maximum. It works fine, and I have tried multiple times. I will wait until Steve gets chance to try it also, see if it crashes on his machine. Thanks EDIT: xelites, just a thoug...

Re: Start Simulation in Macro

Hi Jay Dee, I agree that would be nice, yes. Currently, if I want to test a specific macro I just copy it to the start of my main flowchart and step through it from there. However, the ability to choose a specific macro, and give it a set of sweeping or fixed parameters would be a nice feature I fee...

Re: "Open Macro" option in Context Menu

Hi Jay Dee,

I'll add your suggestion to our list of potential features. I agree that shortcuts like this can be a big benefit to users.

Thanks

Re: Zoom focus

Hi Jay Dee, we'll look into that. I personally agree with you, but i'll check with the developers and see what they say. It may have been done for a reason.

Thanks for reporting it.

Re: EEPROM

Hi Osta, I do not have an 18F45K80 to test with, however, I changed the uC to a 16F1937 and using our EB006 with an LED board on PORTD. For me it is working perfect. I added an EEPROM write to the code, to write my own value, and then verify by reading it back. It works perfectly in both hardware an...

Hi all, The PICKIT info has been updated on the Wiki, but at a different link; http://www.matrixtsl.com/wikiv7/index.php?title=Supporting_Third_Party_Programming_Tools#PICkit3_using_MPLABX_IPE_.28NEW.29 We will be updating the compiler options for each chip family ASAP. Re: Flowcode V7

Hi all, I believe I may have a fix for the above issues, regarding compiler/ programmer settings. Hopefully this sorts it, and if not we've eliminated one thing to try! (apologies if this has been tried, and hasn't worked - we're busy here and I haven't had chance to meticulously read through the wh...

Re: Simulation: Set components to an initial required state

Hi Martin, I know it's not ideal, so apologies. It seems that it's just a visual thing with the switch not changing graphically. If you use SetPort, and then use a component macro to read the switch it will return a '1', even though graphically it hasn't updated (see screenshot). As for writing 255 ...

Re: Simulation: Set components to an initial required state

Apologies if this already exists. I would like to see simulation only component icons. The idea being If i want to start a simulation with say Switches 1,4,& 5 out of a total 6 switches pressed & pot1 start at a value of 128 Then we can grab 4 simulation icons and set first 3 to a value of ...

Re: no 3d in systempanel please

Hello, We still have the dashboard, so users can work in 2D if they want to. The system panel is there for those applications where 3D is necessary. As for the size of the LCD screen, the 3D system panel now represents objects the same size as they are in real life. This is necessary for electro-mec...

Re: Test Based Applications - Have your say

Hi Balles, Thank you for replying. Yes this is the kind of information we are after. What sensors are you using? Do you have any links to them? As for the acquiring of live data into Flowcode, Ben wrote an article on our blog which touches on this. He uses a MPU-6050 (accelerometer and gyro) board, ...

Test Based Applications - Have your say

Hi all, One of the key new features in Flowcode 6 is the ability to operate in a 'live mode' where users can acquire and stream test data directly into Flowcode. This data can then be manipulated, or used to control other processes. This can be achieved using our own hardware, such as the ECIO or MI...

Flowcode 6 Example Application (XY Plotter)

Hi all, I joined the Matrix team at the start of July as an Applications Engineer, having recently completed my PhD in electronic engineering. I had very limited prior knowledge of Flowcode, using version 2 only briefly during my undergraduate degree so learning Flowcode 6 was the same for me as it ...
