Re: FC8 could not open fcf file

That's correct.
The option to import fcf files was removed in Flowcode V8.

Hi Jorgen,
I'm just using a cheap standard 10K ntc thermistor.
Nothing special about it at all.

Hi Ben,
Sorry, still the same after updating with new fcdx file.
PWM does not work until timer2 interrupt set up as described in my above post.

Re: 18F87J50 - BMPDrawer Slow

Have you completed a 1 second test? its always worth doing that test.
Its the first thing I do when starting a new project.
At least you can determine if issue is with oscillator settings or not.

Flowcode has three options of HT16K33:

You tried then all?
If 8x8 does not work,
Then try 16x8 or 8x16 instead.
Even though you have 8x8.

Re: RS232 data corruption

Hi Leo, Also when using software UART with interrupts, the faster the interrupt the more chance of corruption will occur. That's because the interrupts will stretch the pulses. If you would have had the 12F, 16F or 18F device, I could have set hardware up to determine best baud value. PIC24FJ128GA20...

Re: RS232 data corruption

Hi Leo, I have found that software is a bit out. What I did was send a U and check with a scope or digital analyser the time for 1 bit, then current baud = 1/time. Then I adjusted custom baud until the time was spot on. I could always get the software UART to display chars correctly using that metho...

16F1937 8bit timer 2/4 & 6

As timer 2/4 & 6 are 8 bits, they should not default to(or allow) 256 rollover value:

When OK is clicked on the values are excepted.

Good spot!
Yes I should have also included TimeUpFlag=0 with all the other variables being cleared.
So the timing is correct on hardware?

Re: LONG TIME TIMER

I can't see anything that will make the time shorter, except for clearing variables prior to timer interrupt being enabled. I would recommend this: Resetting timer.png You will need to run on hardware to check timing. most important for me is the accuracy of timer at 1 month, and the max theoretical...

You cant use flowcode simulator using a stopwatch as simulation is way quicker than real time.
Can you post your flowchart, and I will see if I can tell what the issue is.
What we can do is have another small delay, Reset values and start timing all over again

Re: LONG TIME TIMER

I have created the flowchart so you can change the time delay to what ever time you want. All you need to do is drag the TimeUpFlag = 1 calculation box from within the TimerISR call macro and place it within the Yes branch of If Seconds = 60 Then you only need to wait 1 minute. You will need to plac...

Hi SILVESTROS9, attached is a flowchart that sets a variable called TimeUpFlag to a value of 1 after 5 Days, 2 Hours, 3 minutes has elapsed. The variable can be used in conjunction with a decision branch. The time duration is set within TimerISR Macro. For this to work, the timer interrupt has to be...

First of all you cant just have If 0 within your discussion branch. It will always be false and will Yes will never be accessed. Same as If you have If 1 Then It will always be true and will Yes will alwayss be accessed. what I do is within a decision branch , if I want to act on a zero value then I...
