Christina,
Just to let you know that we are still investigating this, (but as of yet we have not been successful). Thanks for your patience.

Re: Bad mistake in FC8!
Hi Christina,
One more question for you (sorry!). Do you happen to know what graphics card manufacturer you are using (Intel, AMD/Radeon, Nvidia/Geforce)?

Hi Christina,
Are you by any chance using multiple instances of Flowcode at the same time when this occurs? Or just running a single instance?
Thanks
Daniel

Hi Christina, This is a tricky one because we are unable to recreate the problem here. Would you be able to provide the following information to help us try to narrow the search? 1) Confirm you are using v8.2.1.13 2) Are you using an antivirus, firewall, or any other security software that has real-...

Re: Flowcode closes...
We may never know unfortunately. It sounds like Windows Update has done something which may have either: 1) corrupted the registry settings for Flowcode (unlikely in my opinion) or: 2) changed something in Windows itself which means that your current Flowcode settings were incompatible (maybe someth...

Hi Martin,
Sorry for the slow reply. Could you try clearing your registry settings as described in the following post? This should be more effective at "wiping clean" than simply re-installing.

Re: LCD Display components vanished
Hi Dave, When you say that you've updated Flowcode 8, do you mean that you downloaded the new installer for 8.2, or you've updated your data files using the "Check for Updates" feature in Flowcode itself? If you've updated the executable, did you let Flowcode copy the new data files over when you fi...

Re: FC crashes when converting C code to icons
Hi,
There was a problem with the conversion sometimes crashing in the initial release of 8.1. This was fixed in the 8.1.1 hotfix that was released towards the end of last year. Please ensure that you are using the latest version. If you are still having issues then report back here.
Regards,
Daniel

Re: Hidden Flowchart icons
Hi, This is not actually a bug, but is due to the fact that the icon toolbar has been moved from a single global location (left of the main window), to be part of each individual programming view window. The reason why it is not fully visible in the screenshot shown is because the programming view i...

Just an update with the progress of this one. I have been able to replicate this myself on one machine but not consistently. I am continuing to investigate.

Re: Automatic close flowcode 8
Hello, This is an unusual problem. Normally we would expect some kind of error. We will reset your settings to default in order to rule out some sort of configuration setting causing the issue. Please try the following: 1) Click on your start menu and type "regedit.exe" to open Windows Registry Edit...

Dear Proflolo, My apologies for the delay with responding to your problem. Ghost technology is only compatible with Matrix hardware. In order to use Ghost with your Arduino, you would need to plug your Arduino Uno into our BL0055 E-blocks 2 board. When connecting it to your PC, you will then have ac...

Re: Possible Bug when Scrolling
Hi, I can look into this with an aim to have it fixed for the next release. It sounds like the size isn't being calculated initially, and that's why the vertical scroll bar isn't available. Folding/unfolding triggers a recalculation of layout/size etc. and this would explain why it gets fixed. Thank...

Hi Ferla, Sorry about this issue. Could you go into your Flowcode v8 install folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Flowcode v8), and then the subfolder "plugins", and then check that there is a file called "dll_models.dll"? Please also open the file properties and check that the size is 2,265,088 b...

Dear Ferla, My sincerest apologies for this. I'm please to say I've fixed the issue with the dialog and it was due to a fault during the translation to Italian. Please download the following zip, and extract its contents to the "languages" subfolder inside your Flowcode v8 install folder (usually fo...

Hi both.
The next patch will contain an option to use the icon toolbars in the old style: i.e. a single floatable global icon toolbar (as opposed to the new method of a toolbar per programming view).
Regards.

Hello Dave, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video. There are two answers depending on if you want to simulate these C code function calls, or just be able to type them out yourself with the intention of compiling to chip. The bit of background info I'll give here may or may not be useful to you. Fl...

Re: Probleme running FlowcodeV8.exe
I would suggest that you uninstall Flowcode 8. And then restart your PC into safe mode following this guide. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode When in safe mode, install Flowcode 8 again, and try running it (still in safe mode). If this works, it is...

Hello Vr69, Sorry to hear about your problem. You should not need to install any VC++ Redistributable for Flowcode 8. But you can try Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86 version). https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685 Are you running an anti-virus or software for system mai...

Re: moving the chart icons in the main window
Hi crispin12, What resolution display are you using? Recently, we made the decision to bind the toolbar to the programming views, as we found that many beginners to Flowcode were struggling to understand which parts of the UI worked together. At the moment, the toolbar cannot be moved manually. (tho...

Re: Options window.
Hi QMESAR,
Sorry about this. Could I just check what resolution your display is running at?
Also, are you using standard DPI settings like Martin?
I was aware of this bug but so far have only encountered it on 125% DPI or above.
Thanks,
Daniel
