Re: Can I change interface of Flowcode 8?

As far as I'm aware, we have not removed any interface feature when moving from v7 to v8.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by "change vision like on Flowcode 7". Could you maybe send a screenshot of what you would like to see? Or is there another phrase you can use?

Re: Flowcode 8

Thanks. We've had a similar report and temporarily deleting the cookies from our website seems to fix the issue so you might want to try that.

Otherwise, please wait a few hours and we'll try to get that fixed this morning.

Re: Can I change interface of Flowcode 8?

Like v7, Flowcode v8 has both a dark and a light style. You can change this in the "view" menu. Also there are different inbuilt icon schemes in the "global options" page (via the "view" menu). You can create your own icon scheme within that page if you don't like ours.

The upgrade discounts should be available at a later date, so you don't have to buy upgrade everything at once.

Re: Toolchain flowcode 8

All of the toolchains are available on the Flowcode download page:

https://www.matrixtsl.com/flowcode/download/

We have separated them from the main install to reduce it's size.

Re: Flow 8

When you upgrade, you should get 50% off most of the chip and feature packs. If you don't have the equivalent licence for a pack in v7, then I think you'll need to pay full price for that particular pack.

Re: Flowcode 8

There is a temporary issue with buying on the website. I think if you log our of your account on the Matrix website and then try to buy, then you will be asked to log in and then it should work ok.

We will try to get this fixed as soon as possible, but the workaround above should work for now.

In the past, the upgrade offer from previous versions of Flowcode has no end date and I assume we'll be doing the same thing this time.

Re: Flowcode 8

Thanks for the comments, Martin. The "buy->upgrading" page should work ok. This is the link for that page: https://www.matrixtsl.com/flowcode/buy/upgrade/index.php Maybe it's a cache issue (try a "hard refresh" - control+F5). If that doesn't fix it, please tell me what browser yo...

Can you please describe your issue and perhaps post the error messages, your Flowcode file and the C code generated. That will make it easier to get this problem sorted for you.

Re: Flowcode 8

Hi Jorgen. Here are some answers... Have you used all the component all the AVR, Pic, CAL and FCD ect. from FC7 in FC8? (to avoid bugs). Is FC8 based and build up around FC7? Yes - Flowcode v8 is build upon v7 and a lot of the components remain the same or have slight improvements. We have been inte...

Re: Announcing Flowcode v8

Flowcode v8 now allows users to target Raspberry Pi boards, giving intuitive access to the i/o pins and hardware features such as PWM, I2C and UART. Flowcode programs can be run immediately via Flowcode on a PC, and multiple Flowcode programs can be set to run on startup or on some other condition. ...

Re: Announcing Flowcode v8

Perhaps the most important new features in Flowcode v8 are three concerning C code. One aspect of this is that a user's own C code can now be entered directly within the "C code" window. This either inserts new C-code commands between existing statements (or flowchart icons) or customises ...

Re: Announcing Flowcode v8

Flowcode v8 introduces two new programming modes to supplement the existing Flowchart and C-code modes. One of these is a visual mode we call “Blocks”, where the icons are shaped so they fit together like a jigsaw as show in the images below. Anyone familiar with Scratch, App Inventor, or other visu...

Some of you might have noticed the countdown on our homepage announcing next week's arrival of Flowcode v8. Over the next few days we will use this thread to reveal a few of its new features prior to release. To begin with, I want to introduce a couple of relatively small new features that we hope w...

Re: Update Windows 10 and bug compiler HEX

This sounds like an issue with a firewall (Windows Defender?) or anti-virus program preventing the launch of BoostC. Does the same problem occur if you boot the computer in safe mode? And are there any logs for the firewall (etc) that might show what the problem is? There may also be a way of "...

Re: Eblocks 1 & 2

The BL0117 is effectively our E-blocks 2 version of EB016/EB017.

We do have stock remaining of the EB017 and will continue selling it while people still want to buy it, but I'm not sure we will make more once our existing stock has been exhausted.

Hi Steve,

We don't have any plans to offer this without the breadboard and if we did then it would probably be a similar price to the one with the breadboard.

Regards,
Steve.

Re: Need help with turning this idea into a flow code

No, I do not have a specific v5 program, but using your example: I press input 1 than input 2 than input 1 ------> output 1 (ABA = output 1 ) I press input 1 than input 3 than input 2 ------> output 2 (ACB = output 2 ) STATE_0 would be the starting state. Pressing input 1 (A) would move to STATE_1 S...
