Re: Print Flowchart

There are two possible solutions in the menu for Flowcode 8: 1) Use "File...Save image" when a flowchart has the focus. 2) Use "File...Create project report" to generate a report containing images of all flowcharts in your program. I hope one of these solutions helps you. Regards...

Hi Lawrence,

I'm sorry but I've not seen your email. I'll pass this on to my colleagues here to get this dealt with today.

Re: Cypress ARM compiler

There is considerable effort required to support a new family of microcontrollers and so it's probably unlikely we'll support these anytime soon. But thanks for the suggestion - they are an interesting range of devices.

Regards,
Steve.

Another thing you could do if you wanted to preserve the look of your flowchart is to use an input or output icon and customize the C code appropriately.

Re: 18f4550 usb issues

There seem to be lots of issues with these pins on that chip. Another suggestion from my searches is to add these to the C-icon:

Code: Select all

ADCON1 = 0x0F;
CMCON = CMCON | 0x07;

Unfortunately, I don't have suitable hardware to hand so I can't test.

Re: 18f4550 usb issues

I think this should work...

At the start of your program, add a C-icon and enter the following:

Code: Select all

UCON = 0x00;
UCFG = 0x08;

Re: FC8 Language problem

Flowcode is currently only available in English, French, German and Spanish. We are considering adding Italian to this list but it is not trivial to add another complete translation to Flowcode.

Is there any particular language you would like to see?

Re: One-wire

I can try to answer the second question. That temperature sensor reading is returned in a byte. The top 7 bits of the byte are the whole-number of the temperature. Bit zero is 0 for x.0 and 1 for x.5. So to get the fractional part of the temperature, the first bit is masked-off (using MOD 2, althoug...

Re: Can I change interface of Flowcode 8?

You can simply copy them from v7 to v8. They are the same format, and live in the "GFX\schemes" folder.

The only issue is the new "group" icon will need to be changed.

Re: MOD Operation selected after Minut

Hi Steve When az = FloatFiktGrader has the same value, exit the loop Ok, I understand. First, here's an example logic of the loop: 1) just before the start of the loop, read az and Fiktgrader 2) the loop should be a "while" loop that has the condition "az <> Fiktgrader", and tes...

Re: MOD Operation selected after Minut

I don't understand what you are wanting to do. At the moment, your program has a loop which effectively says "execute the commands within this loop if az does not equal FloatFiktGrader ". If they are equal, it will not execute the commands inside the loop. If they are not equal, it will ge...

Feel free to use our schematic if you wish. Regarding the switches, these are connected to the TXnRTS pins of the CAN controller and can have two alternate functions. One is to request-to-send one of the TX buffer CAN messages and the other is as a general purpose input. The request-to-send is proba...

Hi Pete, Don't worry - it's still on the list. But I can't promise it will get fixed soon as there are other competing issues to consider. As a work-around, it might be easier to begin with a program that contains all of your macros and remove or replace any that are not needed. I know it's not idea...

Hi Matt, I think the question at the moment is "if" and not "when". As Ben said, we need to investigate to determine how long it would take to implement this range of devices. Our initial estimates are that it could be weeks, in which case I think it would be unlikely we'd do thi...

In the past we have rarely updated the toolchains and so these were left out of the update system. The toolchains are separate installations and we will issue patches for these when necessary.

We have confirmed this and it does seem to be an issue with 8.3 short names being missing. The generation of short names is sometimes turned off by 3rd-party optimisers, even though the time saving in practice is negligible. It can be turned back on via these instructions: http://omtool.com/document...
