Hi,
I am using a MIAC example for communication between Labview and MIAC that has V5_MIAC macro.
Is it ok? I am using flowcode 6 and MIAC V2.
or do I have to re-write the program using MIAC macro?
Thanks
Giovanni

HP299 - Flowkit ICD tool to debug MIAC
Hello,
can I use the HP299 - Flowkit ICD tool to debug a program running on the MIAC V2 and flowcode 6?
I cannot find the option ICD in the Project option: where is it gone?
Giovanni
(I bought it only 1 year ago and istalled on my pc but never used)

Re: Emergency Shutdown procedure with MIAC
Hi Martin,
how can you activate an interrupt if a variable associate with an ADC reading goes above a certain threshold?

Re: Emergency Shutdown procedure with MIAC
nonononono you are correct!!!!! it is an life threatening scenario, because the room where the system is very small and the system is connected to a massive central tank of Argon which can potentially fill the all department. However, I have my bottom covered by other safety systems: there is an o2 ...

Emergency Shutdown procedure with MIAC
Hello, I would like to ask your opinion on what is the best way to handle a critical alarm with the MIAC and flowcode 6. In a nutshell I have an Atmosphere Oxygen Depletion sensor/box and I must execute an emergency shutdown procedure of the Argon gas switching system when this box raises an alarm. ...

Re: MIAC and 4-20 mA pressure transmitter
ah! thank you steve! I forgot to add that there is scale compression to take in account, too; the sensor can measure from 0 to 16 bar which will produce a 4 mA to 20 mA. BUT If I add a resistor of 500 Ohm we have: 500*4mA= 2V 500*20mA= 10V therefore a max pressure variation 16 bar will produce ONLY ...

Re: MIAC and 4-20 mA pressure transmitter
Yes, I agree 100%.!!! this particular pressure transmitter sensor has to be connected in the way it is shown in the picture below. At room pressure and temperature it transmits 5mA (what!!! I didn't know it! ). So, when I install the control system I will need to zero the sensor relative to ...

Re: MIAC and 4-20 mA pressure transmitter
Hello, I connect the MIAC ADC as shown in the following picture...sorry... So, I have connected the MIAC as you suggested and when there is no pressure I have the same readings 26 from ADC and 1.312V from the multimeter. To calculate the V measured = 26/20 = 1.3 volt Then the impedence load of the M...

MIAC and 4-20 mA pressure transmitter
Hi, I have connected the MIAC to a pressure transmitter as shown in the fig below: I can measure with the multimeter V=1.312V at the input of ADC1 when the pressure transmitter is not under pressure (1 atm) (the MIAC ADC measure 26 in this conditions) 1) If I connected the resistor properly I should...

MIAC MI3846 - Advanced expans + Flowcode 7 and Oxygen sensor
Hello, could you recommend an air oxygen sensor that works with the MIAC MI3846 - Advanced expansion module. Flowcode 6 crashes
Hello,
flowcode 6 has crashed on me and it was closed down.
Thankfully I have saved the code before that, because there isn't a autosaving feature as far as I know?
I have attached code and error.

I have done it, I have connected all the terminals and now and LabView is happy to run the examples.
However, I have to wait for my MIAC to show up to test it.
I'll report the outcome.....

..ah I forgot to ask.
the USB driver I need to install for the MIAC to work with flowcode in the standard way is it different
from the one that needs to installed for MIAC working in USB slave mode? (USB Slave Firmware.zip)
Sorry I am a bit confused.com!
