Hi Ben
Thanks, I will try the fix on V5.
I do have a licence for FC8, but using FC8 has the same problem (with all the patches and all updates).
If I add the delay in the folders you suggested, would this prevent the stander LCD's from working correctly when compiled?
Thanks

LCD display showing Japanese Characters
Hello All I have been using the WH0802A-YYH-JT display for a long while now without any issues (datasheet attached). But I have recently redesigned the PCB to make simpler use of the backlight. So in order to do this, I changed the display to the RC0802A1-LLR-JWVE (again attached), however, the char...

Maybe Issues with SPI update?
Hello Everyone I did a program a while back in FC6, I then did an update to the program where I needed to add Modbus Slave back in November last year. Back then it seemed to work fine, but now I am having issues... And its defenitly based on FC8 and its updates... So, I have attacehd the FC6 Program...

Re: Bluetooth, android App & Bootloader
Hi Kersing I guess doing the bootloader in C would be OK as we could embed the code into a flowcode program (or compile to C and embed into the bootloader). I am not too familiar with bootloaders so let me know if I am wrong. There is no specification for the Android app language. Preferably written...

Re: Bluetooth, android App & Bootloader
Hey guys
I have not had many takers on this, do you think its too much? Should I break the requirement down into smaller tasks?
Thanks

Hello all We have a potiential project that we need to price together, however there are aspect of the project I have not done before and not too familiar with. Potential project requiring minimium 180Mhz clock speed
Hello I have a potential project where I need to achieve a high resolution PWM resolution (beter than 0.05% - (so if you calculate it a better than 12bit resolution), but still need the PWM to be above audibly frequency of 20Khz... Causes a delema for me as I have only ever used microcip pics (so fa...

Re: PWM - 180 degrees out of phase
Hi Ben
Another question... if the 3 pairs of advanced PWM were used for the 3 half bridges would there still be 4 normal PWM's for other outputs?..
Thanks

Re: PWM - 180 degrees out of phase
With this... Is there not a better way of doing this rather than using a timer interupt? If we can somehow use and interupt on change, but rather than a change on a pin use the ccpril variable? Would this not make a much more responsive inverse PWM with a smaller phase shift? pProblem bieng is that ...

PWM - 180 degrees out of phase
Hello All (and to @medelec35) I have come across an old post where Martin simulated an inverse PWM https://www.matrixtsl.com/mmforums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=8701&p=26384p26295 .Has anyone managed to test this on hardware? Martin, could you perhaps simulate what would happen on your simulator if you ...

Re: LCD's on FC8
Hi Martin
Thanks for the reply. I have updted to V8.1.1.11, and this is what I currently see.
If I do a search for Config I get the generic LCD, but not the same as yours.
PS - Is there a way I can get notifications of any Patches? This is now the second time I have missed one.
Thanks

LCD's on FC8
Hi Everyone I have used Alphanumric LCD's with FC5 loads and work quiet well, but I now need to do a new program and want to use FC8. Hut I only have the option for the 16x2 LCD, now do I convert down to an 8x2 like FC6? Now, secondly how do I print special charectors? I am looking for thigs like a ...

Re: Hardware VS Software serial
Thanks Guys The problem that I have is that the 30F3011 only has one hardware SPI, and this happens to be on teh same pins as the UART channel 1 hardware. Again it just so happens that the RX TX pins for the UART channel 1 hardware is also PGD & PGC. I like the fact that UART channel 1 is on the PGC...

Hardware VS Software serial
Hi Everyone
Has anyone done any comparason testing between hardware and sofware serial protocols?
I am doing a layout for a prototype PCB and need to make a decision on which pins to use with SPI.
I am using a dsPIC30F3011 wit ha fast clock speed of 117964800.
Thanks

High frequency interrupt (16F15323)
Hey everyone Looking at a new project, thinking about using a IOC pin to measure frequencies around 100Khz. Not really done thes high frequencies before, so the first things that come to mind are? What clock frequency will I need? is it possible to do it with a 32Mhz interlal oscillator? The program...

Re: Logic help - Ignoring short pulses
Hello I think I have got this done now - seems the problem I was having was some sort of debouce where the IOC pin now and then jumped through twice. Was very odd as this was not shown on the scope. This caused the IOC macro to run through twice incrementing the variable. This was resolved by saving...

Hello Everyone I seem to be struggling with this... It does sound simple, and perhaps I am making it more complicated than it needs to be. I have attached a program I have done this morning (I was hoping not to as I wanted you guys to look at it from a fresh perspective). It seems to work maybe 97% ...
