I was unable to load your modified Flowcode program, was it created in Flowcode 5? I'm running Flowcode 4.5.
I have setup a led to toggle at a 1 sec rate so I know the program is running. The simple echo does work.

The program below will not send a simple string from the 18F4550 to a terminal program. I have tried several way to send a string but no output. The program has a simple in/output routine for RS232 that works just fine I have transfer the program to a 16F88 and it send the string and echo's just fin...

I'm running Window7 64 bit. FlowCode 4.5, chip 18f4550/16f88, pickit3 programmer
If I select Chip/Configure I get the following display Could this be caused by also having Flowcode 5 (free copy) installed.
Any one have any ideas?

That would work, but I was think about have the program automatically single step
(at a fixed rate) so you could see what was going on with your variables in your program.
Or interrupt routines.

Does any one know how to clear the receive box on the RS232 component (I know you can use the trash can icon on the right when debugging/single stepping)
or force a CR or even a LF. I have tried to use VT100 escape codes but they do not work.

It would be nice to add a new automatic single step icon that you could set a step rate ie: .1 seconds up to 1 second.
I think that it would be good for both v4.x and v5.x
