Re: I2C Slave with PIC24F16KA301/302/304
Hello Benj, I try with PIC24FV16KA301 and it works, well done. We will now replace a lot of components in our new design. My simple program is attached. I send from a master two 3bytes values to the slave and do some restriction with the result to a port pin. With these possibility I could write a s...

I2C Slave with PIC24F16KA301/302/304
Hello Matrix team, I already describe in the 16bit area this following situation: I need to fix a problem in replacing a 16 bit IO I2C with a controller. The Master sends at 100 kHz without time-out: chip-address + R/W -/- register-address -/- databyte In this case, the pic24 has about 50us to recei...

Re: PIC24FV32KA304 and INT0 --> BUG !!!!!
Hello LeighM,
what is about the idea in the first text-block from me on monday?
Did you discuss this in your development round?
Is it not a good way to setup all in the beginning of the program?
That makes the program shorter and quicker.
Best regards
Jörg

Re: PIC24FV32KA304 and INT0 --> BUG !!!!!
If I´m understand right, a calculation-box will be used with c-lines to managed this situation. If yes, where is the philosophy of flowcode with the c-boxes? If you set up a uart channel, you take the belonging component and choose "init". Is it not a good way to do it with ports, too? In the beginn...

Re: PIC24FV32KA304 and INT0 --> BUG !!!!!
Hello Matrix-Team, I´ve now problems with the PIC16F1825. The c-port was used with differant functions. Here happens the same as with the PIC24FV32KA304. A high signal coming out on one port pin was sometimes only as a glich to see. Replace the output boxes with c-lines resolve this problem! Have yo...

Display of macros
Hi matrix team, in most of my programs are a lot of macros. To sort them I´ll put in the front name a number "_01". After a new start they are not standing sorted in the row. That`s one point. Another point is, that I could not switch directly from macro to macro. I must search by clicking the arrow...

OLED (SPI) chip SSD1306 & 24FV16KA301
Hello matrix team, I tried a OLED (SPI) with flowcode 6. The SSD1306-Buffered-component is working fine. The other Components of the SSD1306 gives differant results. Please have a look to the attached PDF. If you found and correct something, can you do it for Version7, too? Advice: 01.) Clearing onl...

Hello Benj, the same happens by counting with timer and toggle out a pin. Please have a look to the link below, I reported some days ago. After clicking to the link scroll a little bit down and then you will see a screenshot from my oscilloscope. https://www.matrixtsl.com/mmforums/viewtopic.php?f=54...

Re: PIC24FV32KA304 and INT0 --> BUG !!!!!
Hello Benj, I visit the electronica in munich and discuss my problem with microchip face to face. They said, that the ports today are very complex and can set up for varius functions. This setup has to be done at first in the program in main!!! If you change something later, while the program runs n...

Re: PIC24FV32KA304 and INT0 --> BUG !!!!!
Hello Benj, I´m not so deep inside C++ like you. But when I take all facts together I would like to explain it in that way: The problem is not the int0. In my trials I noticed, that he wouldn`t start sometimes. The problem of extern counting into tmr4 is not timer4. If one of these extern signals co...

PIC24FV32KA304 and INT0 --> BUG !!!!!
Hello Benj, now I have a other problem with the extern interrupt 0. After several hours I found out why. Here happens the same problem like counting extern clock signals into timer 4, I posted before. In the attached program a led will be toggled in the main loop. Clocking extern int0 toggles a seco...

Uart Component Receive (PIC24FV32KA304)
Hello Matrix team! If you open the interrupt box and choose uart-rx-int1 and send datas in a loop to channel1, this will not works. The receive rxd int is indexed with "0" and "1" and the uart channels with "1" and "2". In the datasheet, from the cpu I use, is the rxd interrupt described as "1" and ...

Re: PIC24FV32KA304 Seemed to be 3 founded bugs
Hello Benj, with I2C is very difficult. Yesterday I´ve only 1 hour time to built back my software. What happens during buliding back is, that if I write to SPI the I2C is dead. When I disable writing to SPI, I2C is running. Can it happens that the SPI-component changes the routing way of the I2C. Pi...

PIC24FV32KA304 Seemed to be 3 founded bugs
Hello Benj, my topic was already written to https://www.matrixtsl.com/mmforums/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=18079 but now I found now a third point, who is not running. Below are all 3 points described again: CPU = PIC24FV32KA304 1.) Sometimes a additional signal on the port! External clock signals are coun...

Hello Benj, to your latest answere and my post before: 1.) using an interrupt-box with timer x and external signals is not running. You must additional write in a c-box the command to change from analog to digital. My idea was to implementate this c-line into your software from the interrupt-box. Wh...

Re: PIC24FV32KA304 Uart is twice speed
Hello Benj, I found in the moment 2 more points for this controller. 01.) Setting an interrupt for timer4 with external clock is not working --> you must change this port-pin from analog to digital, then it`s running. Can you implementated this in your interrupt-box? 02.) External clock signals are ...

PIC24FV32KA304 Uart is twice speed
Hi MM,
the baudrate is twice speed I setup in the program. 9600 baud is for 1 bit on the oscilloscope 52us instead 104us.
Is there a setup mistake or a bug? My little program is attached.
The pic is connected to a external quarz on the primary oscillator.
Thanks in Advanced

Re: Flowcode V6.1.2 PIC24FV32KA304 I2C not working
Hello! I noticed already, to send only 1 byte is not working. The set with start, byte ,restart,byte...., stop is running. I tested this on a PIC24FV16KA301. If you switch over from channel1 to software, the pins b8,b9 are not working. Why? I altough replace my own software I2C in my project on pin ...

Hi, I`ve some questions to sending different datas over the uart: 01.) integer (0x41) = tostring$(65) --> how can I managed to get a "A" in the string? How is the way to go back("A" --> 65)? 02.) I send a string "hello" and additional a char(13). In the receiver I use the receive string component wi...

Re: Flowcode V6.1.2 PIC24FV32KA304 I2C not working
Hello LIghtM, to write to fram is a "0", read a "1". May be that by all my trials this was changed. But the importand point is, that there are no signals coming out from the I2C engine. The software I2C is although not running on the pins b8/b9. My project must be ready in the last days and so I wro...

Hello Benj,
thanks for the info. I will test it with the fram on the board.
Can you please have a look to the article with I2C and PIC24FV32KA304, who is not running.
It`s a very importend project and I´m working on it for 3 days and have no ideas anymore.
