Re: 7 Segment Display control
Hello Martin, I tried messing with the On off states of the Anodes to only turn on the PortA bit say for Ball segment and allow it to read the Port B common bits. Now when I turn off the Port A bit I loose the Ball display digit. When I go ahead with sending the Port B result to my Electrochemical D...

Re: If Decision Fails Flowcode 5
Hi Benj Well I think I tried but I tried everything I could think of for the Decision step but I could not get the flow to come in to detect the switch. I simplified it to be just 1 switch A5 Port A. Varibale control.jpg I believe I followed your steps. But I must be missing something. I spend just ...

Re: If Decision Fails Flowcode 5
Hi Benj, Thank you for your endless help. So the decision works the first time waiting for the switch say A7 to go active and then the flow picks up the A7 and activates Ball 1 segment. But oddly why does the Variable window say PORTA = 0 ? Let me follow you thoughts. 1. use an input icon with maski...

Re: 7 Segment Display control
Hello Benj, Thank you for adding in the Interrupt to control the macro. I thought having so many calls would mess it up and now I see how to address the mess. Can I ask how Flowcode displays the 7 Segment. I thought I could place the common Anode lead to one PORT A where in the real it would be GRD ...

If Decision Fails Flowcode 5
I thought I had a grip but tonight I’m stumped. I set a Decision statement to see if PORTA > 2 so it can jump into a routine to check which switch has been activated. I activate ( Ball ) or Port A Bit 7. So the Decision does activate because PORT A is value 7. The display for Ball advances then I st...

Re: 7 Segment Display control
Hello Benj, Thank you for helping. When you looked at my file and activate the toggle switch for "Home Score" you should see the Ten's unit follow the Units after it says a Score of ( 11 ). Here is the current version I just loaded on Friday. Flowcode5 Version.jpg Benj I have a question to ask on ho...

Re: 7 Segment Display control
Hello Enamul, Thank you taking the time to look at my issue. I have added my file to this post. Now it is in ruff development. To activate the Home score flip switch A5 and leave operational to see the digits advance. The task I have set up is the HOME Team Score the task is have the Unit side (Seg ...

7 Segment Display control
Hello All, I have finally found my way around Flowcode 5. Now I have hit a glitch using the 7 Segment Displays. I'm using them as a Display to simulate my end result to control the segments in a display. In this example I have two displays with labels LedSeg4 & LegSeg5. Seg 4 I have set the common t...

Project Options in Flowcode 5
Hello All, I have just started with Flowcode 5, I was testing out Flowcode Free version 4 and I was able to enjoy the action of controlling the Simulation Speed so I could follow the LED's. Re: Flowcode Training Videos
Hello David,
I enjoy learning when ever I can. I clicked the Links and noticed the Matrix Videos are for Flowcode 4.
The YouTube Matrix's was excellent with one major draw back there is no audible human voice to help enplane the actions. Just nice sleepy music ? Unless I missed something.
