Problem with LCD Board EB-005.

Hi,

Could you help me.

I tried to compile EB005 Factory test routine (put it on attachment
EB005 Factory test routine.zip

) but LCD alway shows only "|". What's wrong with that scheme?

Hello,

Looks like the display has been damaged. Has it ever been connected to a voltage greater than 5V? Looking at your photo it appears that the +V on the display is connected to the +14V terminal on the EB006 which will kill the display.

You also don't need to wire the ground connection, the E-blocks D-type does this automatically.

On current versions of the EB005 board we have added over voltage protection so this is no longer an issue.

Will replace of ME-LCD2x16 help me? More precisely, what is the probability of that it will help?

Could you tell me method how i can get date from ZigBee EBlock EB051 directly to the computer? I need to get RSSI values.

Hello,

The dosplays can be troublesome to remove but yes if you replace the LCD module then the board will be operational again.

Regarding the Zigbee you probably need some kind of a data bridge. For example you could use an ECIO connected to the PC using USB and connected to the Zigbee network using an EB051 E-block.
