Colour Sensor

Post by JohnCrow »

Hi Benj

With the colour sensor can you please confirm I need to connect the 14V from the EB006 to VPWR on the sensor motherboard rather than 5v to V+
Don't want to blow anything :)
1 in 10 people understand binary, the other one doesn't !

Hi John,

You need to connect both your logic power Vcc(5v to pin 1) and the Vpwr (to pin 8 )
Vcc drives the logic and Vpwr drives the white LEDs

Regards,
Leigh
ps. pin numbers above are the module pins, when using EB090 motherboard, just connect both V+ and Vpwr from EB006 to EB090
