Use E-blocks in other systems

Post by PicoPuls »

Matrix has great E-blocks and it would be nice to use then with other development boards.
In my present project I am developing with a dsPIC33EP512MU810 and Matrix has no experimental board
for this 100 pin chip. It seems possible to program the Mikroe easyPIC-Fusion card from Flowcode
but I am missing an adapter that will allow the use of E-blocks.
The picture shows how I think that the connection must be done (no guarantee that this is correct)
As far as I can see, a flat cable mass termination will not work. This can only work if the SUB 9 connector
had its connections 0,1,2,3... in Zic-Zac

Is there already such an adapter available somewhere ?
Otherwise it is necessary to hand-solder something.

Looking forward to comments or solutions

Thanks and best regards
Bengt

I don't believe an adaptor is available, so you will need to make one yourself.

also you could try pre-made "jumper wires", search a hobby shop, between your dev board and the e-blocks "patch area" header pins or wire sockets
