EB006-6

Post by MikeyP »

Hi , just dug out a EB006-6 out of the cupboard which I wanted to play with just for programming the occasional PIC.

I don't have Flowcode , but I do want PPP, but I can't seem to find a download for it anywhere ? (or am I missing something?)

I've already succesfully loaded the USB drivers (to win10/32bit system)

Also a secondary note: I wanted to attempt to read a 16C65A-04/P or at least see if it responds ?... although I'm having trouble finding out whether the EB006 (or anything else) will read it.
I will also be wanting to attempt to write to a 16C65A-04/P (Yes I appreciate it's a discontinued IC but I have a couple to hand)

Anyone can help I'd be much obliged :D

Hello,

You can download the PPP software from here.

Our latest software mLoader should also work with the EB006 v6.

Regarding the 16C65A I don't think it is supported but it's worth a go. A PICkit might be a better option assuming the chip is not code protected. To be honest I've never really used the C devices so not sure what is possible with them.
