EB to EB2 (BL0113-1)

Post by VladimirRepin »

Hello,

I have a problem with connecting the Eblocks2-module to the Eblocks-board using an EB to EB2 adapter (BL0113-1).
The adapter has three sockets (+V, 3V3, 5V) for wired connection, but hasn't ground socket (marked on the board as GND).

I looked in the description of the BL0113 component, and there it says that the ground is on the outer part of the adapter.
So I connected the wire to the hole near Eblocks port of adapter, but this does not work.

May I know how to properly connect the Eblocks2-module to the Eblocks-board using an EB to EB2 adapter?

Thanks in advance for the answer.

If you look at the circuit diagram on the product page (the rightmost picture under more views) you can see GND is present on both connectors. So there is no need to connect GND yourself.
The EB connector does not have a any power connection, that is why you need to supply power to the connector so it can provide power to the EB2 board.
