Questions about the Flowcode evolutions...
Hello the Flowcode Team !
Is it possible to have news about the Flowcode developments ?
For example, do you develop a release for PIC24, 32 or dspic ?
The possibility of using all available communications modules (2 UART per PIC for example) ?
I love this software so if these new features are possible, I buy the V4 without problems!
Thank you !

Re: Questions about the Flowcode evolutions...
We are working on Flowcode V4 at the moment and hope to release it around December. Things are going well, so we might even be able to release it earlier. It will have some great new features and a redesigned user interface.
We are also investigating a version of Flowcode for 16-bit (PIC24 & dsPIC) and possibly PIC32 micros. I should know more about this towards the end of the month. If things progress like I hope they will, we hope to release a version of Flowcode for these micros in the Autumn.
I have also added "multiple UARTS" to our TODO list for V4.

Re: Questions about the Flowcode evolutions...
We are continuing to develop Flowcode for the 16-bit PIC devices and are at quite an advanced stage now.
We would be interested to know what target platform potential users intend to use. i.e:

- Microchip Explorer16 only.
Microchip PIMs but on customised base boards.
Fully customised boards.

Hello sean,
Thanks for this good news!
Personally, I bought before knowing Flowcode, a universal development system for PIC, PSOC, AVR, 8051, ARM and dsPIC MCU (http://www.mikroe.com/en/tools/unids3/).
To use Dspic, I just have to buy a small option card ( and the compiler but there will be Flowcode soon )

Hello !
I already saw that Flowcode V4 was delayed. I just want to know if a 16 bit and / or 32 bit pic micro version will be avaible at the same time ?
Regards

Re: Questions about the Flowcode evolutions...
I'm sorry to say that development on the 16-bit version of Flowcode for PIC has been stopped for now because the demand for this software was small and we felt we could not justify continuing with its development. I hope the situation changes as we were quite far down the development for this.

Ok, Thank you for your answer. I undersand your choice.

Hello !
An other question for you....
Will the Flowcode v4 exist also for the AVR and ARM versions?

Re: Questions about the Flowcode evolutions...
At this stage, we are concentrating only on the PIC version. There will be a version 4 of both the ARM and AVR versions, but I'm not too sure when these will be released.
