Suggest SLEEP symbol and CASE SELECT symbol(s)

Post by Mark »

Hi Guys,

Simple Suggestions for FC4

Whilst sleep is easy to implement it may as well be present as a symbol?

Case select as in on Case = 1 do Y, on Case 2 do Y would greatly tidy up many of programs, where long lists of If symbols make for hard to read clutter.

A last suggestion is to incorporate most of the standard interrupts in the interrupt dialog as the current RBO/PortB and Timer 0 is a bit of a short list. Again easy to implement but makes for much tidier programming and fewr mistakes>

Best Regards,

Mark

The "case" icon has been in my mind for a long time now and will definitely make V4.

As for the "sleep" function, I'll look into it.

And implementing other interrupts is another thing we could do. Obvious ones to do are TMR1, TMR2 and RC (uart receive). What other one do you (or other users) envisage using?
