rs232 component (v4.x or v5.x)

Does any one know how to clear the receive box on the RS232 component (I know you can use the trash can icon on the right when debugging/single stepping)
or force a CR or even a LF. I have tried to use VT100 escape codes but they do not work.

I guess you are trying to clear the Rx window of RS232 component in simulation??
