advise re config setting please

advise re config setting please

can someone help me please, i am wanting to setup a pic16f88 to use the internal clock but not sure on what settings to use.

#### i am working away from home next week so won't be able to replay/ try until next weekend ####

Hi Steve,
Internal oscillator has 8 user selectable frequencies: 31 kHz,
125 kHz, 250 kHz, 500 kHz, 1 MHz, 2 MHz,
4 MHz, 8 MHz

Which one would you like to use, then we can help you further.

i am looking into making a volt / ammeter project with a lcd dispaly so maybe looking at a clock speed of 2MHz maybe 4Mhz

Hi Steve,
I have set attached flowchart to run with internal osc at 4MHz.

Its easy to change to 2MHz sice you un-comment osccon=0x50;//2MHz setting
So for 2MHZ:
osccon=0x50;
For 4MHz:
osccon=0x60;
