Hello.
Ecio40 has GND in pins 2 and 26. Do I have to connect these, or are the pins already connected inside the chip? Or is it possible that GND in pin2 must be used only with VDD out?

Hello,
Both the grounds are connected together on board the ECIO. You should only need to connect your external electronics to one of the pins.
