Configuring Analog component setting

Post by Ondra »

Good day all.
I am working with the Analog component and need some assistance in setting it up correctly.
My setup: -
18LF46K80
19660800 Clk
VDD 3.3v
Using AN1 and AN0 analog inputs.

Using the default setting when choosing the component, measuring a 3.3 volt source I am getting
a reading of 1.9. How do you calculate or determine the following? :-
Acquisition time
Conversion Speed

Hi Ondra,

Try an acq time of 40 and a conversion speed of FRC. This should give you something like a stable reading.

If not then try upping the acq time up to 100 or 200.

The datasheet contains calculations you can do to work out the most effective sample settings if you need to sample the ADC as fast as possible with optimum readings.

Cheers Ondra,

Sneak peeks for v6 should be coming in the next week or so as we start to roll out the marketing push.
