How do I post in the Flowcode 5 Forum please?

Post by Sparkoids »

Hi guys,

The online form makes me change all my user details to post in the Flowcode 5 forum. Any ideas?

All I'm trying to do is report a bug in Flowcode 5 where the GSM module doesn't work.

Both myself and John Crow have tried variations of tests on both Flowcode 4 and 5 with Eblock ECIO and EB006 Eblock.

All programs work correctly with Flowcode 4 but not Flowcode 5. They simulate correctly on both. They work correctly on the hardware on Flowcode 4 but not Flowcode 5.

I believe it is a communications error between the PIC and the GSM module using Flowcode 5 but really do not know.

Can anyone help please with both the Flowcode 5 bug and not being able to post in the forum?

James :-}

Hi james,

Here are instructions for joining the v5 topic.

I will look into the GSM problem today and see if I can find out what is causing the issue.

Hi Benj / James
All programs work correctly with Flowcode 4 but not Flowcode 5. They simulate correctly on both. They work correctly on the hardware on Flowcode 4 but not Flowcode 5.
If I remember with FC5
I could only get the system to send a txt using software mode, but it would receive in hardware mode.

I didnt get chance to look into it any further myself since last friday night, but there does seem to be a problem somewhere.
1 in 10 people understand binary, the other one doesn't !

Now you are registered as a V5 user, I have moved this topic to the V5 Issues forum as it is more relevant.
