I2C Return Value

Post by Hugo »

Hi,

Does anyone know what kind of command return values does the MI2C_Transmit_Byte have and what do they mean?
Currently I always get "1" back after each transmitted data!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Hugo,
This is not the correct section for an I2C question.
Can you please read This post so you can have your account upgraded.
Then this thread can be moved.

Thanks.

Hello,

Please follow Martins advice before posting further questions, the free edition does not support I2C.

1 = remote device acknowledged your transmitted byte, all is good.
0 = remote device not acknowledged your transmitted byte, device may not be present on the bus or may have other issues i.e. in a busy state.
