PIC12F1572 support available?

This seems to be an interesting part from the guys at MCHP, unfortunatelly not yet supported by FC 6.1.1.0. Are there plans to support it? Is there a component file already available somewhere that could be shared? Is there a workaround available?

I have a little project to implement a variable frequency generator and this particular part presents interest due to the extended CCP / PWM module and the extended clock scaling available.

Hello,

I'm afraid that specific chip is not supported by the C compiler inside Flowcode. We have talked to the supplier of the compiler but for whatever reason they are unwilling to do this type of work. We are looking at therefore moving compiler to allow us to support devices like this but this is not a quick fix and is looking like a v7 change at the moment.

Hi there,
Is there any progress on a new version of Flowcode (V7)?
I have the same PIC and need to make a project with it soon.
I would like to avoid having someone write the C code for me.
Thanks

Hello,

Yes it's currently all hands to the pump for Flowcode v7. The new compilers are in and the 12F1572 device is supported.

We are currently looking at a release around the end of May but this is subject to change.

BenJ,
Thanks for the info. Are there any details that you can give on new features of v7?
A generic webserver module for PIC controllers would be nice.
Thanks

Ben,
Will the chip packs be compatible with the new version or will I have to buy new ones.
Thanks

There is a workaround now.
If you need 12F1572 like an addition to the library it is available for download from here:
