Cant compile

Post by MarkW »

Hi

The other day i started getting this message at compile attempt (various
project files all doing the same)

missing or corrupted tdf.dll file
Reading mapping of:PIC18F25K22 failed

C:\Program Files\Flowcode 6\compilers\pic\boostc\boostlink_picmicro.exe reported error code -2

i have tried removing the whole program and re-installing....same problem...even
latest vers of FC6

what could possibly be going wrong?

Hello,

I've just tested compiling to the 18F25K22 device on Flowcode 6 here and it's working ok for me.

What antivirus are you using? It could be that the antivirus has a false positive on one of the compiler files, happens quite a lot with the BoostC compiler as it has double . notation for some of the file names.

Reinstalling Flowcode the antivirus might have simply removed/corrupted the file again.

Hopefully there should be a log you can look at to see which files have been quarantined or deleted.

Aha Martin beat me to it :D
