Hello,

The Max7219 seems to have a SEGDP pin so it looks possible.

Page 8 tells you register that controls dotpoint. Page 7 has register address mapping. :)

When trying to interface with this, i recommend using display test register to test that you can get all segments and dotpoint to illuminate.
