Hi All
I have a simple design for a future DFPlayer that is still in route.
I have a design that works in Flowcode 6 but when I load the PIC the LCD will not display the text.
I though I had a bad chip so I ordered new and the same results.
Here is what I have done.
1. Wired per my design on a bread board.
2. Tested the 16x2 LCD in another design and it works.
3. I have a little more work in sending the port codes to the DFplayer.
On a side note does anyone know on the DFplayer do I need to activate the "Play mode before I select the Segment to play?
Puzzled.
I have attached the LCD wiring and the Flowcode.
Must be missing something that I hope others can see.
Thank you
John

Re: Christmas PIC16F1938 not behaving
I found my error
As soon as I posted the information the light went on.
No Power outage just a memory glitch
I forgot to check the Oscillator settings.
Sorry to post without double checking my options.
