smooth registration FC 6

Dear Matrix TSL

I wish a smooth registration if new pc was bought, and uncomplicate registration for professional versions!
Why you can not solve this HomeVersion Problem if FC is installed at new pc?

btw:
i wish a 100 procent clear uninstall procedure, if the product is deinstalled.
After deinstalled, registry is not 100 prozent clear!
if i re-install without a registration, fc still remember my userdata!

example:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\The Silicon Realms Toolworks\Armadillo

Why this Silicon RealMS Tools "Armadillo Engine"
I understand MM TSL not.



Please!
If click uninstall Flowcode,
so please, delete the Engine and regkey's from installed tool Silicon RealMS Tools "Armadillo Enginge" too!
only Flowcode installs this tool !

If onetime a flowcode register was fail,
never get the registry clear 100 prozent without doing by hand!
and if re-install flowcode after deinstall
the not cleared Registry Entry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Licenses

makes fail again.

after deinstall, search and make clearing by hand in registry,
i get not 100 prozent the registry clear again
this doing install fc with produktive PC was not a good idea.



i think i must do reinstall win 7 and the system.

But i will never install Flowcode 6 again until this problem is here.
if you will clear this and promisse, that registering fc now without problems,
i will have a try in Flowcode again. But until this is still here, i paused in FC

Workaround:

After Install FC and register and shows HOMEVERSION without activated Chip Packs,
copy from succesfull registered FC version ( Professional ) the !important! basic.key ( install folder Flowcode \licenses ) from your "Windows XP" Install to the Windows 7 (x86) install folder.
Restart Flowcode and have phun.

Hello Rudi,

We use Armadillo software protection to protect Flowcode and enforce things such as the 30day trial (and concurrent users). Without leaving something permanently in the registry there would be no way to enforce this 30day trial. The registry key is perfectly harmless and is mere bytes in size and as such should not need to be deleted, it is extremely common practice for software to use the registry in this manner.

We will most likely be moving away from Armadillo in future versions but for v6 it must stay.

If you use the online activation then it is all taken care of automatically, if you are using manual activation then you must follow the process of copying the key and the key file every time.
