Port C - 18F46K80

Post by pfernier »

Hello,
when using UART1 pin RC6-RC7 i cannot use RCO to RC3 as I/O input .
Probably something wrong in registers located in "Project Options" --> "Configure" but what?
RCO to RC3 are working fine when UART1 not in use.
Thanks

Hello,

Please can you attach your program and we will have a look. I have checked the silicone errata document on the Microchip website but although there are documented issues surrounding the UART hardware there is no specific mention of this problem.

Hello,
Sorry for the late answer, i was out of my office for one week.
The code is in the attached file, the reading of RC[3..0] is located in Main.
These 2 icons are disable and replaced (for the moment) by the use of others bits.
When I read RC[3..0} and output it on RD[7..0] all these 4 bits are set to 0 (this test has been suppressed on the Flowcode program).
I 've checked the input RC[3..0] and measured 3.2v, which a level "1"
Best regards.
