This started about 1 to 2 weeks ago and happens today several times a day.
When this happens I have to reboot the pc to quit Flow Code. I can not terminate flow code with Ctrl-Alt-Delete. I need to reboot and then it will be ok again for a little while.
I have tried to reinstall Flowcode but this did not help.

I'm running windows10 and have done so a long time without this problem. It suddenly appeared for about 1 to 2 weeks ago. possible it came after I upgraded to v 6.1.3.2.
It happens only when I load a project file. Also with several different project files. (Not only a specific file)

Some ideas about what we can do with this?

What antivirus or firewall software are you using? I wonder if this is somehow having an effect. Maybe with a recent update things have been made worse? Seems strange its intermittent though.

I've running that version regularly on my Win10 PC and I've not seen this problem, so I wonder if there is something specific to your project that is causing this slowdown.

Could you please PM me with some of your project files and I will see if I have a similar issue with them.

I use only Microsoft's firewall and the defender.
possible this is a windows problem because when this happens then it also happens sometimes that some of the other programs that are open freeze well.

But the error occurs always when I start a project in flowcode.

Another symptom is that the flow code startup logo is hanging over the screen (all other open applications such as in this pictures.

Your program is opening up fine on my Win10 PC. It takes a little while to open (maybe 10 seconds) but I've tried it a few times now and it seems ok.

When I open it, each macro window tab appears in turn and then it waits a little while at the final one ("Start_GSM_Card"), then each one flashes again backwards until the first macro is displayed. At this point, the program is fully loaded. The problem for you seems to be occurring after each macro has been loaded. I'll ask my colleagues to see if they know what could be happening at this point.

Thanks Steve, I suspect it is my PC that is the problem. I have another windows10 Home pc that does not have this problem.
I have now upgraded the one who has problems from Win10 Home to Win10 Pro just to see if that helps.

Next step for me to try a clean installation of Win 10 Pro but hope that I do not have to do that.

this pc is upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10 Home and now to Win10 Pro saw a clean installation is probably a good idea anyway.

The problem is solved upgrading to Win 10 Pro fixed the error that was in windows and not FlowCode

I'm sorry but my problem has now come back again
any suggestions on what I can do to fix this

it was absolutely fine for about 2 months after I upgraded windows to Pro

it is incredibly annoying and I have to restart the computer several times a days

I think it may have been something I have installed in the last few days but I can not find anything here that is abnormally

When you get the freeze I suggest you run Windows Task Manager to see which process is using most resources.

I have no abnormal high processes running when this happens
