C for AVR install problem in Windows 7 64bit

Hello,

After installation C for AVR on Windows 7 64bit and want to start de C course i get the following message;

"Serial number not found or incorrect, please check your install of C4AVRs course"

Please can you help me to find a solution to start the C Course without problems

Should help you out from the FAQ's its a fix to get the C course working on 64 bit machines.

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply and your patch has solved the install problem, but now i have another kind of problem that i can't see some visual applet which belongs to each coarse chapters which has to do with Java installed components.

For some visual items i got the message;

"No Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition v 1.4.2 support for APPLET!!"

This version of Java is installed on my system and stil got this message

I think the java components within de C4AVR CD are for XP environments which i do not have.

My Windows version is Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

How can I solve the Java problem so I can see the visual items which belongs to each coarse chapter ?
